Long underground corridors, the scent of salt water filled the pathways with the occasional sound of waves piercing through its stone walls. Sounds of footsteps echoed from afar. The source of this was Arthur, rushing through as fast as he can. The smartphone in his pockets lit up again.
'Not again!' He said in his mind.
He reached his pocket and grabbed the device. On its screen, the user progress tool was running at real-time, recording his progress towards stamina. Still in running conditions, Arthur tinkered with it and thought, 'How do I turn off this? It's embarrassing if it's lighting up my pants in the next lesson!' His eyes were looking all over the screen. He clicked it multiple times but nothing happens. He swiped it left and right still, nothing happens. Finally, he swiped upwards and more words were found.

Arthur's eyes lit up after finding his solution. 'Yes' His finger clicked on the words and the screen flashed, replaced with the words 'Notifications turned off, user progress will run on the background' and back again to the user progress screen after. Satisfied with the results, he nodded and turned off the device, returning it to his pants pocket.
He kept running and running until he saw a light at the ends of the tunnel. At last, he arrived at the place he thought in his mind. He passed the through the caged entrance and saw around 20 students gathered on the right side of the arena including Instructor Campbell.
Instructor Campbell heard the sounds of footsteps, he turned his head to look at Arthur and just stare at him with his stern looks. Arthur noticed the stare and lowered his head while still running towards the group.
"You're late for five minutes. I forgive you this time because you're just enrolled. Next time, every minute you're late that will be a hundred push-ups each before you join the lessons." Then he turned his stare towards the group of students and continued, "And that also applies to each one of you."
"I-I'm sorry Instructor..." Arthur said with guilt filled in his heart. It's not entirely his fault, to be honest, its just fate doing best at its works.
Finally joined the group Arthur saw multiple weapons racks that filled with various weapons besides Instructor Campbell. He examined one of them and saw in there were swords, spears, bows with its arrows, hammers, ax, and even guns and rifles.
"Let's start the class then. First, pick a weapon of your choice and if you're done, make a circle around me after.— You may choose your weapons now." Instructor Campbell said and walked towards the middle of the arena.
The students make a ruckus picking their weapons of choice and Arthur just standing behind them waiting for his chance. His chance came without too much time of waiting, and he walked towards one of the weapon racks.
'What weapons...Weapons...Weapons...' He thought, he glanced through all the weapons on the rack and finally, his eyes gleamed. Arthur's hands were moving towards the guns and grabbed one of it, but suddenly his guts feeling were telling him to pick something else, he turned his eyes and found a dagger lying next to the swords. He trusted his guts and extends his arm to grab it.
With the dagger in his hands, he swung it to feel the weight and said in his mind, 'Not bad! I quite like this. It's not too heavy and I felt comfortable gripping it.' The daggers were nothing sort of fancy, it was only a military standard dagger that looked similar to a German combat knife, the KM2000.

"Everyone's here?" Instructor Campbell scanned his surrounding and continued, "Good! Now, break into a pair, if you didn't have a pair, come to me and I will be your partner. Understand? I will give you 30 seconds to form a pair and return to me after! Go!"
The rest of the students were busy running about and yelling at each other trying to find a pair but Arthur just stood on his place, he didn't know anyone in there so he reckoned maybe he will be partnered with Instructor Campbell.
But unknowingly a small statured girl was coming his way and stood in front of him.— Arthur saw her coming towards him, but he shrugged the idea of her choosing him as a partner because maybe there's someone beside him or behind him, that were friends with her— But, here she is, standing in front of him, with her petite body that was the same height as Arthur's shoulders. Arthur looked at the girl's face and recognized her.
THUMP!
"OW! What's that for!!" Arthur yelled and grabbed his toes. The girl stomped his feet hard at Arthur's toes and pouted his lips.
"That was for before, consider it as your apology!" The girl said with arms on her waists.
Arthur was annoyed, "I didn't do anything wrong! It's your own fault you slammed to the door!"
"I know, I just want you to feel what I felt that time! Oh! and we're a partner now so let's go back." The girl said and turned around to gather.
Arthur was baffled by the response, he tried to process it but its just not making any sense, he shook his head and yelled at her, "W-what? Now you're just being unreasonable! UGH!! Whatever! WHATEVER!"
He stood beside her but every time he looked at her, he just felt annoyed. The girl was Charlotte, the girl that looked like a doll. Everyone took a glance or two towards the pair and murmurs can be heard discussing the two. She must be famous he thought in his mind. Well, considering her beautiful appearance it would be impossible for someone to not notice her, and it would be many boys dream to stand beside her. Arthur noticed one or two deadly stares from the boys in there but what can he do...Exactly, nothing, nothing at all.
Instructor Campbell examined all of the students and noticed that everyone got a pair on their own. He nodded and said, "Now! Let me tell you why you must form a pair. The two of you will spar for 10 minutes, minor injuries such as scratch, bruise or anything relating to that, would be acceptable, but knowing the possibilities I would intervene directly if something majors were going to happen, and no magic allowed. Got that?"
"Yes, Instructor!" Everyone yelled at the same time to agree on the rules, Charlotte and Arthur was no exception.
"Great! But first, we must talk about the importance of improving the body and not only the minds. I assumed you all would know about the Akashic Records. Akashic Records were a collection of records of the entire thing on the universe, and that includes yours. Your bodies were recorded in real-time, every time you trained it would be recorded. It would be listed as your body potential and would determine if you have enough potential to wield a class or not. This potential also can be seen through the device called The Orb of Fate.— All of you must be wondering, then if you already acquired your class then would the body potential no longer be useful? For that, you're wrong, after you acquire your class, your body will be filled with aether whether you like it or not. The immense stress your body take would be unimaginable. Your body structural DNA would change and evolve making a new set of potential. But, it would only work if your body is strong enough to handle the stress, if your body can't handle the stress, it would break down and left you crippled. So I recommended to always strive to improve your body and mind, no matter what your class is." Instructor Campbell lectured.
The student's all were quite shocked by the lecture and started to discuss one after another.
Instructor Campbell took a breath and continued, "Now, this class also includes a lesson for Artifact's 101. To make it brief, Artifact was a device you created yourself or someone else's works. These artifacts would grant the user certain traits or certain knowledge about certain things. For example, our academy emblem, the spear Gáe Bolg. This spear would grant the user the power to pierce anything, but this is not the only traits the spear had. The spear also grants the user the power to give a curse to the pierced target, the curse of agony that would leave the target feeling like his bodies were cut into a thousand pieces. For the artifact's that grant's the user a certain knowledge would be the Lemegeton, that gives the user the knowledge of demonology."
"That concludes the lecture part. Now we will move on to the fighting part. I need one volunteer to join me in front." He surveyed each one of them and stopped at Arthur, he pointed at him and said, "You! Come join me in the front."
Lost in his thought, Arthur was startled at the sudden calling, he recovered and moved his feet towards the front.
Instructor Campbell nodded at him and said, "This gentleman here will help me to demonstrate about the importance of battle instincts and combat techniques, but before we begin I would tell you that my class is a Slayer, one of the many branches of Warriors Class. This class would grant me the traits of improving my efficiency towards killing medium-sized monsters and also grants me improved strength and stamina. This class also gives me a number of class-specific skills, that would either strengthened my bodies or launch a devastating attack."
"While we are discussing about class, I would also tell you how to improve it. The class can be improved by a series of battles or understanding a certain knowledge that related to the class. I'm only a half-step master, so I didn't know the exact details of it, but, from the records of scholar and scientist that witnessed and studied the class master, after you reached mastery of your classes, the Akashic Records then would assess your evolved body potential once more and would give you options to advance into another class that was higher and had more traits, or to retain it but can add another subclass, which means that you can have two class at the same time." Instructor Campbell wrapped it up.
Instructor Campbell then turned his body towards Arthur and said, "You ready?"
Arthur looked at him and nodded.
"Okay! Go make a space about fifty metres away from me, and ready your weapon."
