Retracting his gaze from his wings, a self mocking smile crept onto Akin's lips as his Spiritual Sense was locked in the ice shard where Myla's body was sealed in inside of his Shadow Space.
"Strong enough as to not lose something again?". Akin mocked himself.
This was not more the ancient being, this was not more his bloodline nor this was Habib, this was him who seemed to had understood...
Who cared about his blessing taking control over him, who cared about the wings his bloodline brought and made him accept them so earnestly, what really matter? Another person he loved died in front of his eyes!
Maybe not long ago Myla was just a strange, a memory of his, but now she was holder of his love.
When his soul fused with Habib's there was still a clear line between the both of them but now the two souls really integrated and there was no more Habib but him, and him had lost for second time a person he cared for in front of his eyes.
This 'stroke' of bad 'luck', this dealt of destiny, was clearly making a sworn enemy for him, but he was to blame life for being unfair? he was to blame destiny for being cruel? If he was to blame something or someone had to be him for still being so weak, for not returning earlier, for not being able to free himself of the shackles of destiny.
With a thought his Spiritual Sense shifted from Shadow Space to his Soul Realm, inside of his Star Palace a blue sphere was floating, as he looked at it a warm extended across his body but was quickly supressed by the flames of rage burning inside him.
With closed eyes he found to many thoughts to sort out, the feelings and experiences from just moments ago were changing himself entirely.
Sometimes shifting your point of view was akin to change what you were looking at and this was what happened to Akin after the past serie of events.
When he saw Myla's state, the Habib part inside of him lost control and thanks to the weak spot in his soul and the empowerment from rage, the blessing of War took over his body, or rather Akin let it happening. It was still his body, his soul, his feelings, but he was just an onlooker then. In fact if nor for the later eruption of his bloodline he would had turn in a battle hunger and bloodthirsty monster.
But as an onlooker he saw himself doing things he couldn't had done just by himself.
Wheter it was using his soul force to influence and trigger the rage inside Amon and Botis, condensing a fire armor linked to his feelings, fusing with his shadow to enter the Dark Space, turning the cold in his Soul Realm in ice to preserve Myla's body, destroying the Dark Space with just a word or killing the winged person, were all feats he couldn't had done by himself..
How to use perfectly his soul force, his spiritual energy and even his body, how to maintain calm when even the rage was burning your body, how far was his own strength from that of his enemies were all gains from this tragedy. Of course he would had prefered to continued in the darkness of ignorance to Myla losing her life, but there weren't other choices, maybe the time for choices was another and this was just the result.
Then, there were his wings, who would had thought destiny would be ironic enough as to grant him the same bloodline that his enemies. Other people perhaps would had thought of reaping apart his wings right in the moment but his bloodline told him that not matter what, they would grow again. Furthermore this was at the very least and ignoring all the others possibles benefits, a way to finally figure out who his enemy was, well he would take the corpse too justin case. After all when he made the attempt in his first visit to Mammon's Greed there were far too many winged person bloodlines.
Myla had die and his enemies showed again, the situation let his biggest flaws surface again, his willpower was weak, or rather he was somehow easily voluble, and his mindset was still that of a mortal but he was born and raised as a mortal it was too unrealistic asking for his mindset changing overnight.
The enemy was ways stronger and he was far too weak, if he, himself, was the one battling this winged person he would had die without a doubt and he was very clear this one was far more weak than those who killed Ashtarte.
For now, he would just first avenge Myla and then thought of a way to bring her back, she was a mortal after all, it may be hard but not impossible. There was also his daughter, he should go and seek for her after finishing his matters here.
Opening his eyes again his Spiritual Sense swept through the abbey, easily finding Amon and Botis who were still immerse in the carnage. Botis was currently swallowing a body, his surround were filled with chopped body parts scattered all around and a seemingly river of blood flowing under him, the amount of people killed unknown.Around Amon just charred bodies were lying and he seemed enjoying stomping over them and turning them to dust.
The amount of people those two killed wasn't small as beside the few survivor inside the abbey and some other scattered around the abbey no other living beings was left alive in the zone. After retracting his attention from those two and storing the winged person's corpse, Akin headed inside the abbey, he still needed some answer and the ones who could provide those to him were inside...
Some time later Akin voice was heard inside of Amon and Botis minds.
"Return".
It was not as imposing as the ancient voice but it carried the same intent just that with a different feeling instead of rage this time was serenity. At the sound of the voice the redness in the eyes of both started to fade as they moved to Akin who was flipping his wing above the abbey's roof.
Amon reached Akin first and was a puppy again when he dived into Akin's shadow, moments later the cute Botis was curling around Akin's arm.
Still mid air Akin stared at the abbey for a last time before shooting himself in the sky.
Moments later, he was standing beside a small bed, his gaze filled with tenderly love as he looked at the child sleeping above the bed, in the floor of the room an old age couple was lying unconscious.
He neved had a child before, and he was a little at a loss about what to do, the path he wanted to walk was one in which he couldn't bring a child along but letting her behind wasn't something he could or wanted to do either, there were to many posibilities and he didn't wanted to take the chance, not anymore.
Carrying the sleeping child in his arms, he walked out of the house and used Heaven's Vault to make a barrier around her so the air won affect her and smiling while staring at the cute child he shooted himself in the sky again...
