Ruilan island, aka Half Moon island. Tourists from around the world usually comes for it's beautiful beach. But for A Country people, it's the peak of education. The dream of every students. Sphere Academy has placed at Clouds island, named like that because its were little islands placed around Ruilan. If captured from the sky, its gave the picture of half moon surrounded by clouds.
Why named Sphere while it's in Ruilan?
Around 600 years ago, Sphere Academy located in Sphere city (at the time, it's not yet the royal capital). The kingdom was attacked, and war of course wouldn't be a picky eater. Headmaster at the time known as the strongest magician, but even the strongest couldn't win against old age, so he didn't participate in the war.
With his last will, the strongest magician brought the little students and many civilian (mostly underage, non magician women and elderly). Dormitories and classes building with everyone in its, were brought to Ruilan forest, leaving the office and some other facilities.
So, many locals were their descendants. Some of students became war orphans and decided to stay after war. They developed the land with headmaster's youngest son and daughter. 5 years after war ended, king granted the Roland family a noble status. The young general, eldest son of headmaster, lost his left palm hand and left leg. The king wanted to give his 15 years old daughter. General Roland had a fiancée, she died in the war. He asked the princess marriage for his brother, reasoned that a princess shouldn't be with a disabled man.
That's the history of Roland family, the descendants of two heroes. The strongest magician, and the strongest knight.
'And now, I became the legitimate first young miss of Roland. They made movie about it years ago. If there is a remake, maybe I could audition the sister role. Yes. Let's research how to be a Roland daughter.'
As always, Rose made story inside her mind, to hypnotize herself.
Rose felt soft. There was a super huge mansion in front of her eyes with guards here and there. If they knew she was a fake, don't say her mom, grandmother, and brothers, even the far away cousin wouldn't be spare. Roland army was more than enough for hunting them down to the roots.
"Big Sis, you're back! I am glad you're okay...," a young girl with brunet long hair run to welcome them at the doorway. She's the same age with Rose. Has a pretty blue eyes and childish face. Unlike the expessionless Peony in Rose's memory, Peo's sister was a cute one.
"I am glad you're okay too," Rose gave a short smile.
"Hemmi, your sister needs some rest, don't bother her. Peony, don't forget your medicine. You're a girl, so even a scratch is a no-no. Hem, let's go!" Mrs. Roland dragged her youngest to home.
"See you in the evening, Sis..." (Hemmi)
Before Rose could ask, two maids brought her luggage.
"You really scarred me, Miss. Don't do that again," a maid linked her arm and pull Rose to garden.
Rose confused, but she could only let her. Then she knew it was a shortcut to their destination.
The garden on the side of main building filled with varieties of flowers. There was a path. Long corridor with grape vines on wooden poles along the road. At the end, there was a small building with peonies in the front yard.
'Damn, rich girl! She had her own courtyard? I don't even have my own bed!'
