Wraaaar!
A huge white tiger roared engaging a 20 foot tall Minotaur holding a huge axe stained by blood from the hilt to the blade. Both the minotaur and the white tiger was gravely wounded.
But on top of the white tiger rides a female rouge who held two daggers from both sides.
The Minotaur stomped on the ground trying to falter the dashing white tiger from the front before the shockwaves from the hoof stomp reached Tyre and Mirai, Tyre jumped to the air with all his might closing the gap between them and the Minotaur.
The Minotaur raised it's axe on a defensive position, but what Mirai did next startled the giant beast.
On mid air, Mirai used Tyre as a jumping platform to reached 40 foot high from the ground. Before Tyre finally reached the Minotaur he vanished out of no where making the Minotaur even more confused.
Soul Recall!
Mirai activated the soul imprint from her left hand to recall Tyre's physical body making the Minotaur flinched for a moment. She quickly capture the opportunity to make her move reaching the peak from the might of her jump, Mirai did a half flip and pose on a diving position. Directing to the Minotaur's head!
"Cocky!"
The Minotaur roared, he raised his axe again but in an offensive position, he was sure to hit the flying insect approaching him from above.
"No one can dodge from mid air!"
The Minotaur slashed from above it's blade aiming at Mirai whose diving from the air.
Half a meter before the Minotaur's axe reached Mirai, the latter disappeared and reappeared from the broad back of the gigantic beast.
Having his eyes wide open, an expression of terror and surprise was painted from the face of the minotaur that was now detached from it's body and was rolling on the ground.
Mirai jumped from the back of the Minotaur's body and fell on the ground lying and panting trying to catch her breath, her lips slowly curved into a smile then laughed out loud echoing through out the whole floor of the cavern.
"And that was the 70th floor boss!"
Mirai raised her blood weeper and stinger in a cross position. Both blades were shining scarlet indicating it's sharpness and hotness.
Mirai deactivates the Spell Imbue spell from her blades cooling the blades down slowly showing a silver glimmer.
A month and a half passed already since she first entered the Underground Lair together with Tyre, the duo started to wipe out clean all the floors from monsters and loots. Sadly, lives would not respawn in this real life like how it works from the game, Mirai expected things to be that way but still a little disappointed for she cannot reap even more.
A while ago on the 70th floor a fierce battle between her and a minotaur ignited, with the help of Tyre, Mirai manage to reach unbelievable level of penetration from her blades which both holds the passive effect of armor penetration upon consecutive hits.
Her disappearance was a newly acquired skill from leveling up her main class.
Skill Name: Shadow Displacement
- Requires 20 points of dexterity, short range blink spell to any shadow. Can be used thrice a week.
For the past month, Mirai manage to reach the threshold of the second rank and now a level 3 second ranker rogue while her sub class reached the 6th level of the first rank.
The chain quest for the underground lair to reach the 30th floor, 50th, and 70th floor was fulfilled as well.
She even manage to upgrade the system function from the reward of the 3rd chain quest. The system can now function as a mini map from the game that can be used to locate approaching and hiding enemies!
Mirai's prowess reaching this level without even two months would cause an expert from Sigma to suicide from envy and shame to call themselves expert, this speed was just monstrous!
—
After mending her wounds and assuring that Tyre was fine inside the soul imprint, Mirai commanded the system to flash the new quest that was given after she finished the third chain quest.
Quest: Reach the Adventurer's Guild of Drodel Republic!
Reward: System Upgrade II
Looks like there's no time to mess around in this place, in to the west it is!
Mirai stood up and slowly walked for the lair's exit, but before she reached the exit she looked back on the entrance for the next floor of the dungeon.
"Looks like you're still a mystery even in this life." Mirai whispered to herself before vanishing on the exit.
A hissing sound can be heard after Mirai left. "And here I thought I'll be able to have some decent battle after a long time...hiss"
—
Mirai was not worried for the past time she spend under the lair, first reason would be the fact that she needs her own foundation in this era of chaos and having her own battle strength increase was the only way to do so. And second would be the stalemate for each nation, empire, kingdom, clans, race and republics.
After the first wave of wars that rose up from each corner of Sigma, the eight pillars protecting different places started to act causing some invisible walls the protect different kingdoms and nation to appear specially for the side of the humanity. Even the different legends from the other clan wouldn't be able to hold a candle against the power of a Sigma's pillar. Every forces retreat to their own land and started to build up their forces from the shadows and things will start to heat up again not before the underworld crack appeared and it will take at least a year and a half before that chaos befall, that is if things will run like how it was from the game.
A year would be enough for me and I have the system to help me set my priorities whenever I'm at lost. But I should't be too dependent on this system. I still don't know how does this system function, does Luna predicted things before hand or she's watching using the remaining small fragment of her power to lead me using the system? Mirai wondered.
She's now riding Tyre whose running 70 miles per hour, the white sabertooth manage to reach the peak of the first level and now a level 9 beast a breath away from the second rank.
Drodel Republic was a thousand miles away from the Serpent Queen's lair but base on Mirai's memory, the path would be full of bandits, beasts and camps of different dark races. Traversing to an alternate route was the only choice for the partners yet it doesn't mean that the risk and danger would be clear, Mirai only chose a much safer passage base on her memories, even so danger would still be present if she let her guard and carefulness down.
"Tyre, since we came from the south, we will enter Drodel from the southern most part." Mirai send her message via spiritual link to Tyre.
"Yes milady!" Tyre answered and dashed towards the mountainous region ahead.
Along the way, Mirai flipped to her 'books' using the system. As a legendary wizard from the game she surely knows the difference between a game and real life, learning magic with the assistance of the game only requires a certain level and sufficient general points. She still have the system's assistance to help her on learning magical skills but being too dependent to the system might cause problem for the future. After all knowing how do the process and functions of the system works was still unknown for Mirai.
Powering her support mage class even as a sub class would be a very big help. Maximizing everything on her disposal was the only choice for her.
Keeping herself aware with the surroundings, Mirai started reading books being visualized on her sight by the system starting from the basics of magic.

Four hours passed by, running at full speed even for a mighty beast like Tyre was still taxing on his part. Mirai analyze their location making sure it was a safe place to stop. She was planning to go alone while Tyre rest on her soul imprint but having a companion with keen senses for danger and a sensitive animal instinct for survival would be much safer for the both of them.
Mirai was bothered that her senses was not yet akin with this world. Even by playing the game for a whole 4 years, living in with the real deal, her minds still needs a little time to adapt from the changes.
