The ringing in his ears continued as he shook his head and tried to sit. There was a tender lump at the back of his head, and as he tried to touch them, a burning sensation traveled from the lump through out his body. What had happened? He tried to recall, but his head was just too heavy for him to think up anything.
Hissing with frustration, he finally made it up to his feet. His vision blurred and seemed to spin his world at the first few instance. But everything seemed to settle after what an eternity of waiting. What had really happened?
Oh, he remembered. Something hard had slammed his head, perhaps a rock or some heavy metals. He studied the stony floor, hoping to find any evidence to the fact. But the floor was as empty as the cave. Must have been Jeff's plan all along.
