"It's me. The one and only," Jerry smiled as he walked into the small room and sat on the bed, right next to Ema.
It was only three months since they last saw each other, but the boy seemed to have matured. There were hairs appearing under his smooth chin now, matching the dark curly ones on his head, but contrasting the bright eyes. He even had a flowery fragrance about him which reminded Ema of the teacher's block back in the Heroes academy. It was good to see him again. And smiling. The expulsion from the snake mountain had left him all weeping and hapless. But now the boy was so alive and…different.
"What are you doing here?"
"Long story." Jerry breathed out, "It's nice to see you, Ema. Sorry about your hand,"
