"What has this got to do with me?" Jeff asked as some men held him.
The metallic object they placed on his hands clipped, giving out a green light as they shoved him roughly to the far end of the room. The object looked like some high-tech equipment, nothing close to what Dr. Jakins would have produced. It looked like some sort of electrical handcuff. It was gentle on the skin, but stiff and would not budge even if Jeff had tried.
"It's not about you, Mr. Peters," Gareth shifted his spectacle, "It's about the people whose lives are in danger. It about the world. This is bigger than you. Much bigger than you can ever imagine."
"But I have proven myself, haven't I? I helped you capture the impostor."
