Simon is still staring at the now open door, with the morning light spilling through.
(Really? No tricks, traps, nothing? I just had to think about an exit, and it happened to open for me?)
While complaining mentally, tail swishing the whole way, he walks out the cave-
And the cave door shuts behind him.
(... Well isn't that super f*cking ominous.)
But that thought is quickly discarded with the scene before him.
"...Oh my God."
The sight seen is nothing short of breathtaking.
Everywhere he looks, he sees massive trees below him- obscuring the ground below. All manners of creatures, and the sounds of nature as a whole can be heard around him. Above him, beasts never before seen on Earth (at least the little he remembers of it) fly in formation. Some creatures- could they be some form of goblin? - are seen standing on tree tops, before quickly darting to the ground below.
But even more attention drawing is something in the distance, taller then the treeline below, and up higher then even the mountain edge Simon is standing on. The only thing it could be connected to in his mind is the image of-
"A city."
Not merely a city; something of that size is unimaginable as anything short of a capital city. Even with so much mystery, something can be said with utmost certainty from Simon's point of view.
(I'm not in Kans- ahem, on earth anymore, am I?)
Truly the inference of a scholar...
(Somehow, I feel like I forgot something in that room... eh, couldn't have been that important. Better question, how am I supposed to get down from here? Because I am really, REALLY hungry.)
