"Finally we found some people." A girl's voice said.
All three of us looked around and saw a man with two women that are dressed in skimpy clothes. The man had dark brown hair and emerald eyes.
"Look at that one, he looks so hot." The girl from before said.
"No, no the other one looks hotter. Just look at his face." Girl no.2 said.
"But of course, Lawrence-sama looks the best." They both said at the same time. Creepy.
The person so-called 'Lawrence' looks really annoyed. He looked at me and I swear his eye literally glittered. I ran behind Kaite and stayed behind him but my head poked out sometimes.
"What do you want?" Kaite asked.
"You should know that this is a competition and we are supposed to defeat every person here," Lawrence said.
I suppose that's true but you can team up, but in the end, it all depends on who is the closest to each other. I drifted away and into my daydreams and didn't bother what they were talking about. But the goddamn blue screen appeared giving a heart attack. I snapped back and I saw Kaite fighting with Lawrence. And Shiro is right next to me. But the screen said: 00:00:19. Fuck, I ran into their battle and pulled Kaite out and ran back to Shiro as a linked our arms together. *bonk* A loud sound signaled us that the time is over. Once again the glean beam showed up again. I let their arms go as we got teleported to the place where I first woke up.
The overseer was in front of us, meaning everyone here. "Right now, you have a tag on you, you and two other people have the same number so you don't get confused with who your teammate is. And the team you have now will be permanent so even if you are unhappy, you still have to stay together and work together or else you guys won't be able to survive. But if you complete the trials, later on, you will be able to choose your own team." He said.
I looked at my tag and it said 7. Kaite and Shiro had the numbers as well. I sighed, that was closed if I didn't pull Kaite back I didn't even know who I will be teaming with.
"You did a good job." Shiro said. My eyes widened, this was the first time he talked to me.
"Don't look so surprised, I told you that Shiro will warm up to you. It just takes time." Kaite winked at me.
I nodded, I guess Shiro is warming up to me. And since we are now an official team we needed to communicate.
"Ok, since everyone here is ready you will go to the next trial." He overseer said. The surrounding changes and we were all in a big room with a big door in front of us.
"This is the second trial, in this trial all you need to do is go into the door and there will be a person there telling you what you need to do. Each group has 10 minutes." The man from the first trial said.
Hmm, 10 minutes, that's a long time but what would be the purpose of giving us 10 minutes. The first group went in and we all listened intensely outside. After hitting the 10 minutes mark there were multiple screams and a few seconds later it died down. After hearing that most people paled, it most definitely the people in there failed and died. Then slowly the next team went in and that was the team that we met in the first trial. The man and two women's dressed as prostitutes. But after 10 minutes there was no scream that signaled that they passed.
