Chapter 2 - Another Guest

Louise stared at Elliot sitting at the sofa with her.

"I should have known that you were not from Earth, the way you acted was too peculiar.", she muttered

Elliot already had changed his clothes. Louise bought him a shirt and jeans this afternoon and he felt really comfortable with the fabric that he started to frolic around on the way home. Now that they were at home, his eyes tried their best to not look at Louise and he actually looked away shyly when Louise exited her room. Louise noticed this and started to become curious as his actions become more apparent.

"Hey, look at me.", Louise said bluntly.

"I would rather not!", Elliot said while distancing himself from her.

"Why? Tell me or I'll kick you out of the house.", she continued.

Louise stood up and went in front of him but Elliot shifted his gaze once more. Now Louise got really curious. She pulled at his ears and began to pester him. After a while, Elliot sighed and said that he'll answer.

"It's because of your clothes! It's too revealing.", he said, still not daring to look at her.

Louise was wearing shorts and a shirt. She did not know in what way did it become too revealing. She smiled, looking like a child that just found a new toy. She actually started to grin.

The doorbell rang and Louise immediately ran to the door and opened it. Outside stood a tall man with long black hair, wearing jeans, black shirt, and hoodie over the shirt carrying a box of pizza. He looked at Louise quietly for a while and then his eyes shifted to Elliot who was now standing.

"Get away from that door Louise. That guy reeks of killing intent!", Elliot shouted while getting into a stance.

The man in black stepped forward and launched himself towards Elliot while the box in his hands emitted an intense blue light. As the light disappeared, the two were nowhere to be seen, but in reality, they were currently inside a rift in time and space.

Elliot looked at the man in front of him quietly and a sword appeared in his hand, unsheathed. He slashed upwards sending a sword light flying towards the air. Nothing happened.

The man in black snorted and said, "There's no use, this is a rift in time and space, it would take a massive amount of force to destroy it.", he said as a gun appeared in his hands, "Nice to make this short acquaintance.".

"That's nice to hear, I really did not want to use my strength as the planet you call Earth is too small, but if you're sure that this space is unbreakable, then I guess I can relax a bit. Prepare for the first strike!", Elliot said, brimming with desire for battle.

Elliot raised his sword high into the air. Energy clustered in the sword and the energy that accumulated made the man felt like death was approaching him. The man in black actually felt scared, the energy levels of that attack was enough to destroy a whole galaxy, and that means certain destruction for this rift also. This was beyond anything he imagined but gritting his teeth nonetheless, the man teleported to Elliot's back. Of course this was noticed by Elliot, though this was the case, he could not stop his movement due to the momentum. Elliot really did not think that such speed could be achieved by an individual with such weak physique and so he used a large move, leaving a large gap. Not wanting to lose, Elliot decided to explode the energy, decisively damaging himself in the process.

The man felt scared, that energy really could kill him easily. Looking more focused than ever, he held out his left hand to grasp Elliot's hand. His watch emitted light and all of a sudden, his cellular structure copied Elliot's cellular structure, meaning, he can also withstand the damage.

The massive explosion caused the rift to be broken. Cracks appeared and the space they were in began to collapse, but, in this scene of chaos, the two men continued fighting, punching and wrestling each other.

Louise who was dumbfounded was once again shocked as another bright light scintillated. After the bright light faded and what could be seen was a scene that was too hard to describe. Two grown men, down on the floor, looking at each other with serious faces, not wanting to let go of the other. No, this was a serious fight.

"Well, I guess there's room for one more guest.", she muttered while smiling wryly and slapping her forehead lightly.
