"COME!"
The four kids immediately rushed towards him without any doubt that they would end up losing. They thought that even if he could take down one of them, the rest of them could still beat him up like a dog.
"You cocky little bastard! You think that you can take four of us when you're alone? We will send you back where you really belong, you trash!" a kid said while throwing a jab straight at Aurum's face.
Unfortunately for them, they didn't know that Sarah was able to fight as well, and she could equalize the fight when she joins Aurum. He was about to face the attack of the kid and was initially scared because the memory of him sparring with Sarah resurfaced in his memories. Aurum immediately grabbed the fist of the kid while using his other hand to strike the throat of his opponent.
Immediately after doing so, the kid had a hard time breathing and was knocked down on the ground. When the other kids saw it, they didn't dare underestimate him any longer.
"One down, three to go..." Aurum muttered under his breath.
Aurum didn't feel any fear towards the aggressive behavior that he saw from the other three.
Surprisingly, he was calm at the moment. He was able to maintain his cool because he trusted that Sarah, when things go out of control, she would immediately come and help him. Sarah was pretty impressed at his courageous act that he is displaying at the moment. At the same time, she was also touched, she knew that Aurum was only able to do that because she is watching how the fight is going to turn out.
The three kids surrounded Aurum without sparing a glance at Sarah. They thought that if they take Aurum down with their numbers, they could immediately make Sarah cower in fear. However when he was surrounded by them, he felt a little bit of nervousness at the thought that he would be easily taken down before Sarah could even help him.
"At his current strength, he is not going to last long by fighting three of them at once. Even if he did face two of them, there's still a high chance that he would be defeated by the remaining one." Sarah thought who was looking at the sidelines, but she immediately responded when he saw the current situation of the fight.
She went behind one of them and did a leg sweep. The kid who was targeted did not expect her to make such moves, much less to attack him. When he tripped, she grabbed one of his arm and threw him to another kid. Two bodies crashed against one another and their eyes were filled with shock and fury.
"I'll handle these two here. You go get that guy, okay?" Sarah looked at Aurum while smiling brightly.
Aurum became a little bit flustered when she saw her smile, but after that he was filled with fighting spirit. He went and took the initiative to approach his opponent in order surprised him. Then, without hesitation, he did a hook punch, but was dodged by the kid. Aurum's opponent sneered at him, but when he saw that Aurum didn't even stop his momentum, he felt somewhat uncomfortable. Aurum went with his current momentum in order to follow up with a back fist, which hit the kid squarely on the jaw, knocking him out.
After doing so, he looked at where Sarah was fighting but was stunned when she had already finished up as well. Both of them however, was still conscious while groaning in pain. They looked at Sarah and Aurum with hatred as they saw them about to leave.
"You will regret this, you little b*tch!" One of them said.
"Next time, we won't be so lenient with you!" The other added.
When they both heard this, they looked at them and approached slowly. Both kids were terrified when they saw them approaching to them. They knew that if they were the only one who was facing them, they would be pummeled without a second thought. When both of them were in front of the kids, Sarah squatted down and looked at them menacingly.
"You think I'm afraid that you guys will come after me? Keep dreaming, you piece of sh*t! The moment you will do that, you will all suffer a fate that is worse than death itself!" She disdainfully said towards them.
Aurum was stunned when he heard her saying those words. He didn't expect that when Sarah is pushed, her tongue would be so sharp that he couldn't recognize her for a second. Aurum snapped out of it right away and grabbed her shoulder while slowly taking her away.
When he went home, he was a little bit surprised when he saw his grandfather in the house. He immediately went up to his parents with a confused look on his face. Naturally, Vyvyan and Lior saw his expression and they explained it to Aurum slowly.
"Little buddy, me and your mom needs to go somewhere for our work. We won't be able to be with you for the next three days, however, your grandpa would be here looking out for you, okay?" Lior said calmly.
"My son, I will finish my work right away and come home early. Don't forget that you need to be early for school tomorrow so you better sleep early today. Don't make things hard for grandpa, okay?" Vyvyan said while smiling sweetly.
Aurum looked at his grandfather with a little bit of discomfort. He really wasn't close with him and they didn't talk that much. However, at the moment, he would try to get along with him because he needs to.
Vyvyan and Lior got their stuff and left the house with a heartache. Both of them didn't want to leave Aurum alone with his grandfather not because they don't trust him, but because they would miss their son right away.
Aurum felt their reluctance and immediately went and hugged both of them tightly. After that, Aurum went to his grandfather and tried to talk to him. However, his grandpa immediately spoke to him before he could say something.
"You have been to a fight earlier, right?" he asked with a low voice.
Aurum couldn't help but look at him with surprise. He didn't know how his grandfather knew he fought today as he didn't have any injuries nor any blood on him. When his grandfather saw his expression, he couldn't help but laugh at him.
"Hahaha! Boy, do you think you can hide it from me? I can see it clearly from your eyes that you a had battle earlier. Your fighting spirit is still reflected on your eyes. I truly didn't expect that a kid like you would do something like this. If Vyvyan or Lior heard about this, I wonder how would they react?" he said while grinning mischievously.

The ones who read this before my edit would've seen that it was his 'grandpa', but it became his 'uncle' at some point.
