When Adam open his eyes he saw himself sitting on the shade of a tree. He remember that he sat there to rest because of the exhaustion he get when the light from the Big Box at the center of the Main Office enter his body, he also remember that something spherical prismatic color gem was embeded at the center of his chest, and a golden vine like tattoo extending from the gem up to his neck, and down to his navel appeared to his body after that event.
While thinking, he put his hands on his chest unconsciously, and felt the gem,
"It was still here, I wonder what is this?" His hands was still feeling the gem beneath his clothes.
He sigh and started to walk back to their home, on his way back, he saw his father looking around.
"Dad, what are you looking at? Are you searching for something?" Adam asked.
"There you are, little brat, I was looking for you, it was getting darker and you are still outside, go get inside and take a bath, the dinner is ready soon."
Sergei scold Adam and walk inside their little hut.
Adam obeyed his father, he went inside the washroom and clean himself. Inside the washroom, he take of his clothes and look at his chest to examine the gem more.
"I wish it will not make my parents scared and worried when they saw this." Adam thought to himself.
Adam look down to his chest, but to his shocked, the gem and the golden vine like tattoo in his body disappeared, Adam was stunned, he know that there is a gem on his chest, but now it was gone.
"What happen! It was gone"
He touch his chest to check if it was really gone, when his hands touch it, he feels the bulging gem, at that moment, he knew that it was not gone, but it became invisible.
"Now I see, It will only appeared in my body when I was at the Mainframe Space, but here at the outside, they will become invisible. Now my worries that my parents will accidentally saw the gem embeded in my body were gone. I feel relieve." Adam thought.
Adam stop checking his body and started to wash his body, he was looking forward to this day that he can take a bath, It has been 3 days since he came to this world but on that 3 days, he was just staying in his room, recovering to his injury, and his mother told him that he can't take a bath nor eat until he was fully recovered. The shiny pill he eaten makes him feel not hungry for 3 days.
"Aaaah, finally, I can take a bath"
Adam started to pour a cold water to his body, and take the scrub to clean it, he feel slightly uncomfortable because there is no soap, and shampoo, but he can't do anything about it. It was a medieval age world, and soaps are not yet invented. He just need to endure this situation because this is his new life now.
After taking a bath, he exited the washroom and went to his room to dry himself, he look for a new clothes in his drawer and get dressed, after he was done, he exited his room and went to the dining area to eat with his family.
Adam didn't say anything as he continue to eat. He was examining the food he was eating, this was his first time to taste the food in this world, and he discover that the food in this world does not have difference on the taste of the food on earth. Tonight's dinner, they ate a boiled potato like crop with a melted cheese like on the top. He also has broccoli like side dish dipped in a soy sauce like condiment.
Silence was at the place when someone start to talk.
"How's your work, are you already done? Your know that you need to make your work perfect, I don't like mistakes."
Regina break the silence in front of there dinner by asking Adam about his punishment.
"I'm already done Mom, and don't worry, I pick and sort them properly and carefully." Adam response to his mother's question and pause before he continue.
"By the way Mom, I saw some mushrooms in the field, and I discovered that some of them are poisonous,what are we going to do?"
The couple is shocked of what they heard, they were shocked not because there are poisonous mushrooms in there field, but because of how Adam identified that there are poisonous mushrooms.
"Just live it there son, we also sell those poisonous mushroom at the near town, we earn a lot of money because of that mushroom." Sergei stop for a moment.
"How did you know that some of our mushrooms are poisonous?"
Sergei was curious, and so do Regina, she was not speaking but she is listening to Adam's response.
"I will tell everything after the dinner." Adam says.
Regina frown and slightly slam the table. She was mad of Adam's response.
"What are you saying? Why don't you tell us right away, you know that we don't want you to keep us something mostly if it can danger your life. Go on, tell us."
Adam look down and start to make Blefuscu's scratching head posture.
"I didn't mean to keep it a secret to you Mom, Dad, but it was really a long story, I just want everyone of us finished the dinner. It was not good to have a serious talks while eating right?"
Regina calm down, she know that her son was right, eating dinner is a great bonding for family and it will ruin the good atmosphere of there dinner if they start to talk serious topics.
Sergei didn't say anything, but he was observing his son as it starts to act different. He know that something was off about his son since he was struck by lightning.
"Alright, but don't tell any lies, I know how to tell if someone is lying or telling the truth."
Regina warned Adam, Adam stare to his mother nervously, as he nodded and continue to eat.
"This dish is so delicious, what is the name of this dish?"
As Adam ask, he heard a sound of a spoon fell to a plate, he looked at where it came from, and he saw his father looking at him.
"Adam! That is your favorite dish, 'Boiled Bacotta with Creamy Whiz Toppings', don't you remember? Did you still have memory loss after the accident?" Regina asked with concern tone.
Adam just nodded and didn't say anything. He was scared that her mother can see his lies if he continue to explain.
"Did you have memory loss? How severe is it?" Sergei start to panic, he don't know that his son suffers memory loss.
Regina slap her forehead before she speak.
"You are traveling this last 2 days so you don't know, and I forgot to tell you this Afternoon, Adam has a memory loss, he can't remember anything, he just know that we are his parents, and his name is Adam, thats all. It was also the reason why he called us Sister and Sir, when he wakes up after he was struck by lightning. But after he recovers, he remember that we are his parents."
Regina explained everything to her husband.
"Is there a way to recover his lost memory? What if he forgot us again, we will become stranger to our son."
Sergei stare at Adam with teary eyes.
"Adam, do you remember the time I teach you how to make some hunting traps?"
Adam shook his head.
"How about the time we play hide and seek near the pond?"
Again Adam shook his head.
Sergei stand up and lift his son and hug it tightly.
"Oh, my son, my little angel" Sergei started to cry.
"What a lovely father, he always look so manly because of his muscular body, but when it comes to his son, he becomes a soft hearted father." Adam thought to himself.
"Don't worry dad, I will try my best to remember every memory I lost. So please stop crying." Adam hug his father.
Sergei put down his son and nodded.
"Thats my son, don't loose hope, I know you can do it, I will help you remember everything, tommorow, we will do all the things I taught you before so you can easily remember it.
Adam is shocked,
"But Dad, is it appropriate?" He knows that the decision of his father is final, but he still tries to refuse.
"Why, Is there something wrong? I know someone who lost his memory, he just recovered when he redo all the things he did before. Don't worry son, you can get all your memories again."
Adam sigh, he know that he cannot turn back now. He sat down and started to eat again while trying to focus his mind to contact Lilliput,
"Lilliput, can you hear me?" Adam asked
"Yes Young Master, I can hear you. What can I do for you Young Master?" Lilliput response immediately
"Is there any way that I can get the memory of the past Adam? I don't want my parents worried a lot, and I'm tired of making some stories just to cover the truth." Adam asked.
"Yes Young Master, I will tell you, when you get hear Physically." Lilliput explained.
"Ok, see you later, Oh, by the way, can you ask Blefuscu, if he already completed to scan the things my father brought from the town." Adam ordered Lilliput.
"Young Master, Blefuscu is already done, do you want me to give the results?" Lilliput Asked
"Leave it for later, I'am still busy, Just prepare for a long hard work. Contact me if there is something important." Adam said
After talking to Lilliput, he cut his connection, and continue to focus on eating, he really like the taste of his food, he can't blame if the past Adam's favorite food is this dish. It was so delicious.
After eating, he help his mother cleaning the table and wash the dishes, before he went to there living room and sat at the couch to discussed serious topics.
"Sigh, What a LOVELY MEDIEVAL LIFE." Adam thought, while waiting for his parents to come.
