As for how he knows about it, Flakes who was ordered by Snow to follow Shao Shu later on before he goes into the rampage state, however since Jing Ai was also taken away, Flake has switched to following his daughter.
After all, rather than Qui Feng that has that heavy pressure blocking Flake from knowing anything, and the female protagonist that might also affect Flake spying, then Jing Ai is going to be the best choice to follow with.
And since Flake is currently on his glowing blue orb body, then the pressure he recieve has lessened, which whenever Qui Feng is away or just a bit far then Flake was able to remain by their sides to watch everything happening whenever he can.
