Gu Hua coldly stared at the crowd and her eyes squinted of their own accord.
Her stare sent shivers down the spine of those before her.
Gu Hua curved her lips in a facsimile of a smile and looked at everyone gathered in her courtyard.
"Hng!" Gu Panpan snorted.
"What kind of expression is that? Do you not want to live anymore?"
When she finished, her face was flushed with anger, she took out her whip and an aura erupted from Gu Panpan's body, causing Gu Yiyi to slightly tremble.
Gu Panpan turned around and glared at Gu Hua.
"Looks like in the few days I wasn't home, your courage has increased. Without anyone to discipline you, you have forgotten how high the heavens are! Today, I will teach you about what rules are."
Gu Yiyi looked at Gu Hua with disdain and jeered, "Sister, I think you should teach her a lesson. How about we beat her to death today?"
Gu Hua curled her lips in disdain.
"What lesson are you going to teach me? Do you want to beat me to death? Please, do you believe that I'm still the same old Gu Hua? Huh!"
Gu Panpan was stunned and stared dumbfoundedly at Gu Hua before she yelled, "Whatever. Alright, then today I'll give you your wish. I'll beat you to death, you bastard!"
As she cracked her whip to hit the other girl, the people who came with her started to cheer her to beat Gu Hua to death.
To them the young girl looked frail and thin, in fact, a little too thin.
She looked much too delicate to even stand a single blow of the ferocious whip.
They reckoned that she would soon spit out a mouthful of blood and fall dead on the ground.
However, the gathered had their expectations shattered the very next second and their eyes widened—in shock or wonder, was anyone's guess.
The young girl that they thought would be spurting out three litres of blood, instead stood in the same spot; as tall and steadfast as a proud bamboo tree.
A small gust of wind blew and her green robes fluttered and her imposing aura created a force field over her delicate figure.
As she caught Gu Panpan's whip with one bare hand, Gu Hua curled her lips.
She smiled and quietly said, "Just this small amount of skill and you dare call yourself the 'thousand years god whip'. How ignorant."
Gu Panpan turned ghastly pale, while everyone else stared at Gu Hua in shocked silence.
Was this—Was this the same Gu Hua? The same Gu Hua who didn't know any martial arts? The one that can't even use force to retaliate and only had words and barbs as her shield.
Meanwhile, Gu Panpan frowned. She wondered what kind of situation she had found herself in.
Since when did this rotten Gu Hua gather enough strength to grab her whip? What kind of situation was this?
She gave the girl standing in front of her a faint glance.
Gu Hua completely turned fierce and domineering as she bent forward and pulled the whip from Gu Panpan's hand, while Gu Panpan could only stare at her blankly.
In her previous life, Levy was widely known for her sword skills.
She could use Requip Magic - a form of Spatial Magic also known as the knight. Swordsamages usually requip their weapons as they fight but she could fight while requiping her 'magic armour' to increase her ability.
While she didn't have any Qi Collection Rank or Cultivation force in this world, she could still use her Requip magic.
But she doesn't want to disclose her ability right now, so she can only depend upon her military training and martial arts.
Gu Hua assumed the attacking position and looked at the people around her with a cold glint in her eyes.
Gu Yiyi sneered, "You wench. You dare?"
Gu Hua's lips curved up as she sarcastically replied, "Right, how could I dare? Why don't you take a look for yourself if I have the guts or not? How about you let me teach you how to use a whip?"
Before anyone could recover from the shock, the crowd heard a loud bang.
The young girl's body transformed into a streak of light and was flung into the sky with a whoosh before being violently thrown back onto the ground.
The minds of the rest of the crowd went blank.
They slowly turned their heads towards Gu Hua's frail-looking body.
Gu Hua swung her arms around as if nothing had happened.
She didn't seem to mind the prone body on the ground.
She didn't even bother to spare another glance at the young girl on the ground as if that would be a waste of her time
