Flora was sweeping the fallen leaves when a huge wave of energy erupted a few meters away. The pressure it emitted was stronger than what she encountered before. The danger signals in her mind went off as she ran towards the building where she lived. However, there was a speck of feeling that she felt something familiar, yet wasn't. Regardless, she still ran towards the building and shouted an emergency to the ones that were living in it. When all of them gathered before the opening portal with their weapons ready, there were people that emerged out of it.
"...."
Silence ensued and Flora gasped in realization as soon as she saw the woman with a pitch black crown floating atop her head.
"Master!" Flora exclaimed as she ran towards Emersyn with vigor.
Emersyn's eyes widened as Flora crashed on her chest. It seemed the time that they didn't meet, Flora shrank- no, it was her that grew taller. How many days had it been since she saw this woman? She was about to hug back Flora when a small figure crashed his way between them. It was Yvri.
"... Yvri, didn't I tell you to wait? We'll be back anyway, you know that."
"But… I don't want to be separated from mama…."
Emersyn slightly curved the corner of her lips. She picked up the child and introduced, "Flora, this is my son, Yvri Lachlan."
The instance Flora heard that, she stiffened and she thought that the whole world crashed against a huge asteroid. She was also filled with happiness that her master finally had a son. Whoever was the one that gave her a baby should be eliminated. Her eyes went behind Emersyn and saw an incredibly handsome man. His beauty was out of this world, and she immediately knew that the father would be this person.
"Flora…," sensing her thoughts, Emersyn called out and explained, "My adoptive son, Yvri. If that cleared up some confusion in your head."
"Eh? You didn't give birth?"
"..... why would I give birth? That's not in my bucket list, sorry."
"Now thay you mentioned it, he doesn't look like you two at all…," Flora mused as she examined Elodiaren, Emersyn and Yvri.
Emersyn was dumbfounded when she realized who Flora paired her with. She let out an exasperated sigh, then lightly kicked Elodiaren's feet.
"Hey, explain to this airhead that we are not a thing."
"Flora, right?" Elodiaren began. "We are not lovers yet."
Suddenly, a punch connected through his diaphragm. He doubled over in pain and looked at Emersyn with tears in his eyes. He coughed a few times, then stood up slowly.
"I apologize," Emersyn said as she patted Yvri's back with her left hand that almost punched a hole in Elodiaren's body.
"I… I should be the one who have to ask for forgiveness…."
Meanwhile, Flora was watching Yvri sigh in content.
As soon as Yvri felt that he was being watched, he glared at whoever that was. When he knew that it was Flora, he smirked at her then turned his head to another direction then settled his head on Emersyn's shoulder. He also wrapped his arms around Emersyn's neck and nuzzled.
"My baby," Emersyn cooed as she rubbed Yvri's back. "Do you really want to go with us?"
Yvri nodded eagerly from his position.
"Alright," Emersyn said then turned towards Flora. "I'm sorry. It is our reunion, but we have a mission to do."
"Mission? Does it have to do with the people with you?"
"These are my people from the world I am ruling--"
"Wait! You're ruling over a world?!" Flora interjected. "That's really amazing! Can we come over?" Her gaze suddenly turned towards her fellow former slaves behind her, and they also exchanged gazes that signified that they also wanted to come.
However, the people that peeked over and saw Emersyn and heard what Flora said, they clamoured and immediately went outside.
"Flora! You can't just leave us! The ChangHao firm is already like our second home!"
"That's right! You established yourself into Strevalia already, and you are leaving it? How awful!"
"I won't be able to enjoy the tastiest food in this place! Please! Reconsider!"
"Us, adventurers, won't have any comforts if you leave!"
"... hey, you just haven't confessed to Flora--"
"Shush! You mongoose!"
Emersyn chuckled.
"Don't worry, I will visit often if I can. We are just going to get a few monsters alive and see if they could survive in our world. After that, we will go to each of the known Gates and see if the monsters there would be able to survive in our world. Once we are done, of course, we will be here often."
Flora's expression relaxed then nodded her head. "Understood, Master. We will wait for you."
"Then, please excuse us," Emersyn said. However, as soon as she walked past Flora, she suddenly stopped and turned towards the demi-human. "Oh, right. I forgot. I'm glad to see you all doing well," then she left along her entourage.
They walked until they could no longer see any people. As they stopped, Emersyn gave them her permission to use their motorbikes. It was the oldest model from the world she came from, and they tweaked it with crystals that fueled and revitalised the engine. Emersyn, who didn't bother buying one for herself, jumped onto the air and created a foothold. She spread her energy around the vicinity and immediately took off. The motorbikes also took off, without any sounds, following Emersyn through uneven terrain. Of course, it was also tweaked to survive any kind of terrain, so they didn't have any problems. After all, the civilization of Locruna was fastly advancing with Emersyn at the center.
Then, after a few minutes, Emersyn stopped her tracks and descended down. The group following her lost sight of her, so they stopped and waited for her to appear.
Suddenly, there was a noise and they could see Emersyn approaching, with a huge boar floating a few meters above her. The boar could only snort in fear as it was scrutinised from head to toe; specially its genitals.
"This boar is female, and I happened to also see a flock of them."
"Boar?" Melody suddenly asked.
"You've never seen a boar before?" Emersyn inquired.
Melody shuddered from the sudden attention from the Demon Lord and nodded meekly. "I… I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I'm just inquiring. Anyway, this boar have a soft flesh, so it'll be perfect for some stew and grilled. This will be our first capture. I will have to ask Elodiaren to open up a portal for us and see if this boar could survive in our world."
"Understood," Elodiaren nodded his head then tried to open up a portal. After a few seconds of figuring it out, he finally opened one to Locruna. He was a bit embarrassed, and the others were also determined to not embarrass themselves in front of their Supreme Ruler.
"Make it bigger," Emersyn dropped a bomb.
"...."
"Just input more energy into it."
Then, the portal became bigger and the huge boar protested as it felt the concentration of mana on the other side as it flailed. As soon as the boar got used to the mana, it even started to sniff the mana from Locruna. Emersyn floated it towards the portal and dropped the boar, then she immediately closed the portal.
"I'll make a new portal in a different place, so can you guys do what I just did to the boar in the flock at the direction I came from?"
"Yes!"
Then, they dispersed, putting their motorbikes into their inventory.
"Aren, you're coming with me."
Elodiaren was touched as he gazed warmly at Emersyn. She sighed as she grabbed Elodiaren's face with her hands.
"Stop looking at me."
"Why?"
"I am repulsed. Anyway, we'll be going now."
Elodiaren slumped then tottered over to Emersyn and they both entered the portal Emersyn created. Once they were in Locruna, they saw the huge boar they just transferred into their world. It was tentatively looking around as its senses were muddled from the sudden change in atmosphere. However, there were no problems so far. When Emersyn deemed that the boar got used to its new life in Locruna, she made a portal to Strevalia right where she saw the flock of boars.
"Hmm… they are doing well," Emersyn muttered as soon as she saw that her entourage was leading the boars well enough.
Melody was the one who created an enormous portal due to the depth of her mana pool. Their strategy was to circle around the boars as they would scare them into the portal once all of them showed signs of acceptance of the mana in Locruna. However, some of them ran away from the pressure and only relatively small boars were left. They were numbered to fifteen, and deemed that it would be enough, so they appeared before the fiften boars. Contrary to their expectations, these boars didn't get scared and even attempted to crash into them. With that new information, Chu Yubin immediately provoked a couple of them and ran into the portal.
"You weaklings!" He shouted in excitement.
