"Little Snow!" Lucas made a dash towards Snow, flapping his wings to propel him forward faster. At the same time, the only surviving plant swing it's body around threateningly in the air for around five seconds, it seems very satisfied with its meal and was getting ready for more.
All of the vines landed on the ground softly and starts to creep towards the fallen soldiers. As the stem is already thick, there is no point in creeping up onto the prey, it just went to pierce those rabbits immediately. Eight of the surrounding rabbits were immediately impaled and starts to bleed. Left with only two branches, one of them seems to be the pickiest, it has already secured 8 food source, it starts to lurk around, searching for other potential preys. The plant seems to gain intelligence, the one free branch stays near the main body and acts like it was drinking the nearby rabbit's blood, completely frozen. It seems like it notices it's weakness and places a defending vine there to protect itself, sadly, Lucas did not focus on it, Snow is the only thing on his mind.
His hands reach out, desperately trying to pull Snow closer to him, the moment the cub is in his arms, he dashes for the door again. He flaps his wings as hard as he could thinking that the vine would not reach him, sadly that was not the case...
*Pochi* Suddenly, Lucas felt his fur coat robe became warm and wet. His wings stiffen for a moment before starting to flap frantically as he falls. The pain intensifies as time goes on, Luckily, Lucas heard something and push Snow away from his embrace towards the door. Snow went falling to the ground and was woken up when she falls flat to the ground.
"Ouch... Big Brother? Where are you... BIG BROTHER!" Snow looks around to find Lucas, but the scene in front of her shock her once again. There in the air, there's one guy who is fluttering his wings helplessly like a fly trapped in a web. His white coat drenched in fresh red blood, the vine completely pierces through his stomach.

Lucas is slowly losing consciousness, his vision blurred, he saw a white figure standing at the door looking at him, it's mouth seems to be moving, screaming something, but nothing manages to go into his ears. "G...go Snow, ru...run!" With his final burst of energy, he manages to squeeze out his last words before his energy drained and lost consciousness. His lifeless body went plummeting down to the ground and slowly shiver up.
