Chapter 4 - Untitled

(A/N: I am from the future. A lot of people hate this, but if you carry on reading for another 5 to 10 chapters I promise it gets much better. Self promoting at its best, heh)

Raikou woke up and looked around him.

"Am I in a dream, please fucking tell me i'm dreaming."

"Hoho. Welcome back boy. My wish came true, I really wanted to see you again."

Raikou was immensely confused. How is he back here. Isn't this a place for dead souls to pass through.

"Wait... How am I here? Please don't say what I think you're going to say. I will rip that shitty smirk off your face you son of a bitch."

"Hoho, exactly right. You have died once again, hoho."

"How could I have died, I remember going to sleep after fighting some goons on the way to the market. It's not possible, I was completely fine."

"Hoho. For someone that wanted to be the main character of a story, you sure are stupid. You let the bad guys escape, you know what the entails don't you. Hoho, they came back with someone stronger and gutted you and and that woman while you were sleeping. Hoho. Of course, that woman got some extra 'special treatment' before they killed her. You got lucky, imagine they decided that they wanted to play with your hole too. Hoho, that would've been a sight." The joker looking man rambled on for a while about how he wanted to see me getting violated before dying.

Wait. My mother died too? No. No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

"How is that possible, don't systems have some sort of sensors to tell me when enemies approach."

"Hoho, you are unbelievably stupid. You didn't even try to check the features of your system or what is available to you. You based everything off the novels you read and expected your undeveloped system to have the same abilities as theirs. I'm surprised that you started with 10 intelligence with brains as shitty as yours, hoho."

Raikou wasn't in the mood to retort back. His mother died. It was all his fault. How could he be so stupid even after seeing many similar situations play out in the novels. Now he is dead too. Stupidity really doesn't have a cure.

"Ok, hurry up. Send me on my way. Where do souls even go after death anyway?"

"Hoho, slow down. Who said i'm going to let you off that easy. 'They' have abandoned you, doesn't mean I have too. I want to see you despair more. Hohohohoho, I RELISH IN YOUR DESPAIR." He ran up to me and started to sniff my hair while screaming about relishing in my despair.

"What the fuck is he..." Raikou thought.

'He' slowly recollected himself and continued "Hoho, anyways. My superiors lost faith in you after seeing your extremely low levels of intelligence displayed in the 2 years you were in that world. You didn't seem to have even collected any knowledge relevant to cultivating and that world while you were there."

He's right. I just tried cultivating daily without any instructions or extra knowledge. My mother didn't try to teach me anything as she saw me as a baby still and planned on teaching me everything later on. She 'taught' me how to speak and after that I went straight to cultivating. HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO STUPID. Looking back on it now, it really is impossible to be that stupid.

"Hoho. As I have said, I am going to give you another chance. Remember, this will be your last one. No more retries after this. Hoho, maybe that will allow me to see you despair even more. Hoho." He started laughing again and mumbling incoherently.

"No more wishes, this time I will be sending you down with just your underwear. A new world entirely, only similar to the last one in both being cultivating worlds. Hoho, I hope you don't die so quick this time. I want you to become hopeful again before you decide to die, maybe that way I can see more sorrow and despair etched on your face the next time you come here, HOHO."

"Hoho, bye for now. Have fun in the new world."

"Wait, I have more things to ask youuuuuuuuuu." Raikou tried to speak but he could feel himself disappearing again and tried to play it off as a dramatic send off by stretching the 'you'.
