Jumping rooftop to rooftop takes a lot of energy out of me, but it's the fastest way of travel without letting people see you. Imi's house is coming up on the right, and it's right next to the library, so it stands out, not to mention it's the only house that isn't dark brown but rather a bright blue. It's seriously hard to miss, Approaching the house from the left I bend my left knee into a pouncing position and exert an impressive amount of force into my jump.
*I don't need get to the roof I just need to go through a window*
The glass shatters as I blast through the window to her room, Immediately she wakes up and sits up staring at me, still laying in bed.
"Sorry, Imi.. Your time has come."
As the moonlight adjusts positions revealing her eyes, I begin to notice that she doesn't have pupils.
My back starts sweating; It's as if she's already dead.
*That's not possible. Dead people don't wake up*
I take out my dagger and begin to rush at her - keep in mind it's a pretty big room, so it takes me a couple of seconds to get to her. I throw my dagger in the air and grab it *A little show-off move never hurts* then thrust it into her head. No blood comes out; this doesn't feel right - she's still looking at me, her mouth opens but doesn't move.
"This world isn't yours, goodbye Azoth."

A portal opens beneath my feet, and before I can react I start falling, picking up speed
faster faster faster faster It's dark, I can't see anything - cold air is seeping into my skin as if I'm in a void. Another portal opens beneath me, and I fall through it - Lights? There are huge buildings everywhere; but, I'm still higher than those buildings, and I'd rather not be.
*I need to slow down*
I'm estimating 20 seconds before I hit the ground

A glowing circle with weird inscribed letters encircle me stopping me instantly before I touch the ground without any pain, relief flushes through my body
"Guess there was a failsafe with that portal? Not that it matters, I need to find out where I am"
It's dark here but unlike the void, I can actually make out things around me. There is a sign a few meters away, may as well check it out - maybe it'll tell me where I am.
As I approach I realize I can't read it.. I'm illiterate, looks like it didn't pay off for not attending my old man's class. I'm assuming I'm in the same world because the letters seem to be what I'm use to - guess I'll just have to ask somebody.
A quick glance around and there's only one person anywhere in my vicinity. I start walking towards him, He's wearing a huge cloak with some kind of eye protection? Maybe he's a mage - it does seem to be a bigger town than mine so I wouldn't doubt there's a mage here. I begin to approach the man
"Hey, sorry to bother you what town is this?"
The man slowly turns and looks at me

This time the man seems to have acknowledged the question

Don't recognize the name.. Maybe.. I'm not in my world.. but he speaks my language.
