Chapter 3 - Administration Thing

Her name was Sarah Emille "Hello, my name Sarah. I'm here to assist you all with the administration matter." Sarah then shook their hands and welcome them into the HQ. Corner City HQ was so crowded that time, well every HQ will be crowded since its main purpose was an administrative building. Like every office building, there were front office, restroom, and much more rooms.

They walked towards the second floor. Actually, this building had seven floors in total. Not so much. "Well, we don't have many times. Since you guys still using your school uniform that means you were not going home when first transferred here. Is that correct Noah?" Sarah stopped for a while and saw Noah behind her for a second and continue to walk.

Noah looked terrified. "Yes, Ma'am." How on earth an old man scared like that if not this Sarah was his superior? Finally, they arrived at a room. Sarah's room. This room wasn't so big, about twenty square meters. There was a table at the center and some chairs right beside the wall.

Sarah moved her hand and three chairs moved by its self, "Please sit down here kids." Sarah invited the kids to sit. The kids looked puzzled, who were not getting puzzled after seeing three chairs moved with no one touched them. Then the kids sat on the chair moved by Sarah and Sarah sat in her own chair and began registering them.

"Well kids, put your hand here." Sarah put a black stone on the table.

"What is this?" Nash asked.

Sarah knew that she was being doubted, "This is a reflection stone. This stone can see your innate talent, your aptitude, so we, WEO can make some arrangement based on that for a year. We want to ensure that every newcomer can survive after the first year."

"Wait, may we have some questions before we do this?" Via wanted to make sure that everything going to be alright. "Yes, please." Sarah replied.

"So, first, you guys can see everything in every newcomer like their skill, level etc?" The first question asked by Via. "Of course not. We only able to see your aptitude. Your level, skill, and attribute will be safe." Sarah answered it calmly.

"Me, next. So, what is the benefit for us to show your our talent?" Nash, second question. Again, calmly, Sarah answered, "I already answer it, we want to ensure that every newcomer can survive after the first year. Because here in Orth, we have some rules and one of them is to make sure every newcomer can survive. This rule created when the first wizard era around one thousand and four hundred years ago. You can read this book, Rules of Orth if you want." A book then flew from the mini library behind Sarah to the table.

The third question asked by Bagas. "So, I think I'm next." Actually, Bagas didn't prepare any question. But he thought about something. "Why there was WEO in the first place? On Earth, we have United Nations because we didn't want world war 3 to happen." A smile showed on Sarah's face. "You asked a good question kid. Because more or less the same reason. Some organization or we always call them BS or Black Syndicate, want to make Orth in chaos. Of course, there are some experts that want Orth to be at peace but there are some that really think Orth is a place where the strong one who wins. But as we all know there will always be regeneration, a young one will emerge and the old will shed. To prevent the bad guys here to win, we the good guys make WEO." Then Nash, Via, and Bagas felt they were in a safe hand. "Mrs. Sarah, one last question. Is there any change for BS to capture a newcomer when they did not yet know about Orth. I mean, we met Noah, or Noah found us, I don't really care. What will happen if Noah didn't find us and we met BS that time?" Nash asked. A very good question indeed. "Well, we don't have much personnel yet and Earth is too big for us right now. So every now and then we tried our best to spot a newcomer. Yes, there will be some newcomer end up as a BS before they knew WEO exist." A relieved face should be seen on their face.

Next, they placed their hand on the stone one by one. Nash first. Sarah shocked, she was never see something like this. A newcomer with every aptitude rated normal. Although it was only normal, it was the first time. Was it a good sign? Yes. Why? Because in Orth, magic can be so diverse. Do you ever hear mud magic? It can only be acquired and learned by someone with earth and water aptitude. And there were magma and lighting, and many more. The combination of magic that could be performed was limitless. There was also a summon magic where the summon beast have their own element to be controlled by the summoner so that means someone with more diverse aptitude could possibly control many beasts. Not to mention Nash, as long as he found the beast and the beast could be tamed by Nash, he could summon EVERY BEAST in Orth.

"NOAH, TAKE CARE OF NASH AT ALL COST!" Sarah's eyes opened so wide. Could it pop out? Who knows.

"Yes, Mrs. Sarah." Noah replied.

Noah who depressed about he being a jack of all trade confused by Mrs. Sarah's reaction. "What happen Mrs. Sarah? Am I that fragile so Noah must protect me at all cost?" "You will know why next time. When you begin to learn about Orth." A big smile on Sarah's face could be seen by all the kids. It was a good news for Via and Bagas because their friend surely wasn't bad.

The next was Via. She placed her hand on top of the stone. Sarah once again showed a smile. "Both of you will be a legendary wizard here." Via smiled at Sarah's comment.

The last was Bagas, and once again, Sarah smiled. "Noah, make sure you protect these kids. If you need a back up just tell me, I will organize someone to help you." Bagas had a high aptitude at holy and water element. Those two elements being high leveled indicated that Bagas was a real healer. A talented one at that. Water could be used for healing and so did holy. A healer on Orth often seen having a water aptitude while very rarely to seen with a holy attribute. Bagas had both, so Bagas was a real healer.

Right now, Noah was really speechless. He never heard Sarah like this. Usually, Noah only heard something like 'don't be lame in work' or 'don't spoil them', Noah then asked. "Mrs. Sarah, is there anything wrong?" Sarah shook her head. "I will show you later. Just do your job. You kids may leave. Have a good day, and don't forget to come back home and tell your families that you will study aboard for a year. We will take care of the other things." Noah leads the kids to go outside. "Hey, what are you guys doing to Mrs. Sarah? I never saw her like that before." Noah asked the kids. Via answered, "Just like what Mrs. Sarah said. We can be the next legendary wizard. But I still don't really get it honestly. I need to learn more about Orth." Noah looked a bit excited. "Is that so? Hmm, I'm waiting for some miracle here." Noah led the kids to a room. There were many curtains just like some fitting rooms. "Here, you can teleport back to Earth. Be sure to go home and keep everything here a secret. I will do the other task for you. I will contact you through watch when we ready to pick you. We already come to your house and told your family about this matter, just pretend that three of you come home late because you have a walk together because you will study aboard together." The kids answer at the same time and salute him, "Sir yes sir!" The kids went to the curtain. Noah forgot to tell something and hurried to speak, "Just said 'Transfer' to activate them. And you will be transported to a house in Wellington. That house is one of our branch on Earth. The staff there will drive you home safely." Finally, they walked towards the the curtain and transported to the house Noah mentioned before.

The kids walked out of the curtain and the staff there welcomed them well. "Hello guys, shall we drive you home?" A man looked like at his thirty greet them. "Yes, please." Via replied.

While they walked out towards the car provided by the staff, they had a small talk. "So, guys. Our lives will be changed forever. I hope it will be some exciting one."Nash said in a happy tone. Via and Bagas nodded in agreement. "Via, Nash, on Orth, make sure we will act together. We cannot really believe anyone there. We must rely on our own." Bagas sounded like a mature person right now. "Yes, of course. And where you study to speak like that Bagas? I never knew that you can be this wise? Let me check your forehead." Nash touched Bagas' forehead to make a joke. Via chuckled and Bagas blushed.
