Yeter backed away with a booming stop and Kako rushed behind Oli, turning his back to his team captain. Thus corralling their two beetles between them without leaving them an opening to escape and flank Oli.
No orders were left to share. All that remained was executing the simple plan along with their insectoid enemies.
Oli only offered one last order, "Let's see who cleans up first!"
"You heard that, Yeter?" Kako scoffed.
"Hell no!" Yeter whinnied, stunning his baboon companion for a split second. "I ain't losing to a double-teamed high-elder!"
"Then quit yapping and start stomping if you don't want to be dead weight!"
C-Crunch!
Oli's mace cracked the floor with back-to-back impacts. The oversized beetles scuttled backward, clacking their wide mandibles in hunger.
At the same time, Oli loosed a long breath with a hushed mumble.
