Before anyone could question him, Eeole flicked a strand of ethereal energy out of his head. It rapidly entered Troena's spiritual being and branched off to everyone else.
The world went black for a moment… until their senses returned.
Walls of brilliant gold. Pillars of platinum marble. Banners of green embroidered with silver.
Sharing a single perspective, they all stood in a vast chamber of a lavish palace. Troena's gaze scanned the room, as if offering the spectators a small window to examine the other guests.
Everyone was seated.
Troena, with a halberd in hand, sat near the front of the chamber. She and the other gods present were offered cozy, throne-like armchairs.
Yet, despite how comfortable the green velvet cushions were, Troena felt sick to her stomach whenever she looked at the familiar green color all about the room.
