Oli looked down at his drake body, now with an even deeper appreciation for his dark-death essence. He wiggled his claws and felt the weight of his wings. Everything was… natural.
"Now, Vero, I understand that your job is done and that you've had little rest as of late," Vloz spoke loudly, glancing at Captain Khas on standby.
"Get this drake a room. He deserves a good rest. And I would like for you to guard it personally, to ensure that he's not disturbed."
Telepathically, Oli asked the leopard, 'What now?'
'Nothing. You just need some rest,' Vloz mentally replied.
The leopard shared a small, smug smile as he looked back at the drake. "You never know when and where you'll be called into action next. So get some good rest while it's still available. I'll call for you tomorrow."
The captain turned to the drake with a head bow. "I… don't know whether to hate you or thank you. But I'll show you to a room with a huge bed."
