They then returned to the lounge area. Jarrit listened intently as Vloz summed up the recent battles and their winning strategies. But it was Rathe's duel with a king that had the old mage on the edge of his seat.
"So, according to what you've found, Rathe defeated a king?"
"Yes… and no." Vloz shook his head and sighed, "Has Rhyner mentioned him?"
"Him? As in who? Should I know?"

Ania and Puula arrived at the table with food in tow. Carrying two large platters, Ania quickly sat on Jarrit's side of the table, leaving Puula to join Vloz. Puula also carried two platters with the help of her tails. Both women set the food down and were amazed to see the men continuing to stare at each other in silence as their conversation was paused.
It was only after one of the platters reached the corner of Jarrit's gaze that he wavered for a moment. "This… Jrabda roast?"
