Slapping Zelsh with his tail, Oli bowed to the dauntless dragon. "I'm Vero. A mercenary for hire. I was picked up by King Zelsh due to my recent exploits under the employ of Iron Territory."
The dragon didn't react. "... And from where do you hail, Vero?"
"I grew up on the run, with no mother or father to guide me. I can't remember where I was born. Only that I've always been on the move."
"Are you stating that you have no clan or allegiances, aside from Iron Territory?" The dragon let some purple flames drip out of his teeth.
Oli shook his head. "I have no allegiances. I was hired by Iron Territory, but I do not dwell there or call it home."

The Toxic-shadow Dragon growled again, tilting his gaze toward Zelsh. "You understand what this means?"
