When Andrew and his company arrive in the wolf cave later, the fire already off but still leave smokes. Andrew told his companion to put the grass and shrubs down and extinguish the fire that may be still burn the wood there. Using the soil and tree branches, the goblin put down the fire until no longer make smokes anymore.
After making sure no fire were left behind, Andrew takes his companion to enter the wolf cave. The dark surrounding inside the cave didn't hinder Andrew to see the interior of the cave because he can see in the dark with his goblin eyes. From the cave entrance until several meters inside it's like your usual cave. Only rocks and dirt can be seen everywhere but after walk further into the cave, the floor cave starts littered with white bones and remnants. Andrew can't decide what kind of bones is that maybe some bones left from the wolf's prey that carried into the cave.
Walking further, there're some human skulls lying on the cave's floor and also some rustic daggers. Maybe that belongs to those human skulls. I wonder if they're hunter or adventures that become wolf's prey when they exploring this cave. The goblins that followed Andrew look excited when seeing those rustic daggers and immediately take it with them. Andrew didn't prohibit their doing because it considered as their loot in this cave. Maybe he can do something with the rust and make it more useful later.
Besides those rustic daggers, Andrew also sees some leather armors but they are already in awful condition. Tattered, dirty by dirt, full with scratches, and almost looks like a rag. Andrew's followers also want to take it like the dagger before but they see Andrew stare at those ragged leather armor. With a bit hesitation, they ask permission to take those ragged leather armor
"Ugh…Captain Sir….Do you want to take that armor? You did not wear one so it would be better to have one"
Andrew looks at his subordinate who ask that question before answering,
"No…I'm not interested with that armor. Do you want to pick it up? Go ahead"
"Yes, Thank you captain"
Those goblins happily pick up that ragged leather armors and stack it with the daggers before then follow Andrew walk deeper into the cave.
The deeper they walk, more and more bones scattered everywhere. From the skulls that Andrew identified, it's mixed between animals and human bones. If a normal person walks in this cave, he surely will feel goosebumps with eerie air inside the cave. There's one item that attracts Andrew attention in this part, that item is a rusty iron plate armor. There's also a skeleton inside that iron plate armor and a rusty broken sword also lying near the skeleton. Maybe he's the leader of those previous skeleton human that Andrew found earlier but still can't escape death inside this cave.
It's no use for Andrew, the size is too big for a goblin to wear this iron plate armor neither the broken sword. The goblins also don't know smiting technique to repair the sword. Still, Andrew's follower takes it with them after got permission from Andrew.
Feel bored, Andrew hastes his walk to the deepest part of the cave. He still needs to attend his wounded subordinates and has no time to waste here. After make sure there's no wolf left in the cave he wants to return to his man and awaiting the arrival of goblin chief while attending the wounded subordinates. After walking a couple of minutes, he arrives in the deepest part of caves. Different from before, this part quite clean and almost has no bones scattered. The air also warm and dry, the floor filled with dried leaves and grass. It's more looks like a nest!
And on the corner, Andrew saw a wolf cub coiling over dried leaves stack. Andrew's followers who also see the wolf cub immediately raise his bamboo spear, want to stab that cub with the bamboo spear.
"Hold! Don't kill the cub!"
Andrew hurriedly stops them from killing the cub. The reason Andrew stop his men because that wolf cub is not ordinary wolf cub, it has white fur on him. Once Andrew saw him, he knows that cub is not a common wolf cub.
He approaching the cub and check him whether it's still alive or not. After checking, Andrew found the cub still alive, only sleep soundly, may be affected by the papaver smoke before.
'Oh my….he's so cute. Should I leave it here or take with me?'
That's what crossed on Andrew's mind when knowing the cub still alive.
'If I take him with me, can I raise it like a pet? If I can tame him, I can use him to help me hunting. But if I fail to tame him, when he grows later it would be dangerous'
Andrew is thinking about the advantage and disadvantage of taking this cub with him. And after put some consideration in his mind, finally….
"We leave! I take this cub with me"
