Chapter 130 - Gheele Folami - Major Chapter - Overpowering

Ivar's black wings flapped once and he shot up into the sky. With a wave of his hand, most of my crystal serpents shattered, with only one that managed to slam into him.

"Urgh!"

He crashed into a building, causing the wall to explode upon impact. It took a few moments, but he got back up as his injury healed itself. I sent more massive serpents at him and he took off into the sky once again.

The same thing happened as before, where he shattered most of the serpents and got hit by one or two regardless. It was strange, really. Even though his Aegis's specialty had to be the most broken so far, he didn't seem to use it well. I was sure he could shatter or disintegrate my Aegis crystals all at once.

Still, I witnessed Ivar struggling to get rid of all my crystal serpents. Perhaps he couldn't do it due to a limit of how much he can manipulate in one instance.

There was the fact that he was controlling Mara's crystals in the sky and also his wings at the same time. If I was correct, there was only a little room left for Ivar to control anything else.

"He didn't seem that efficient in using his specialty," I mumbled.

If his specialty indeed had a limit, then it would be because he was a human. After all, a human's brain can also do so many calculations in one time. Depending on the individual, the rate of how someone do multitasking would vary.

Ivar was not an exception to that rule. If his Aegis's specialty was bestowed to a robot of some sort, perhaps it could be used to its full potential. A robot wouldn't have the computing limitations a human normally had.

"Damn all these serpents!" yelled Ivar.

He commanded some of Mara's crystals floating in the sky to crash into my serpents, and when it collided, he then willed those serpents to shatter. Ivar halted in mid-air to take a brief look at the million shards of orange crystals. He was distracted for a few seconds, and I took the opportunity to pop my crystal claws and blades behind him.

"Tsk!"

Ivar flew away from his initial spot, trying to dodge my hovering blades slashing at him. He didn't waste any time to shatter every one of it, however, I sent more of my Aegis crystals at him after that.

"How much can you propagate your particles?!" Ivar said in annoyance as he tried to disintegrate my Aegis crystals.

I took a glance at my Aegis Gear.

It was pretty obvious at that point that it elevated my control over the Aegis particles to a level that I didn't imagine. Klaus and his fellow scientists were definitely something else.

"Gheele!"

Ivar's black wings slashed at my Aegis crystals before he willed the rest to disintegrate. Then, he flew straight toward me. Just as his wings were about to slash, I formed an oval shield in the air to block it.

"You know, Gheele," said Ivar, "since you produce this much volume of Aegis crystals, I'm sure the Aegis particles you had spread are about to run out."

I grinned. "Is that so?"

Ivar's wings slashed repeatedly while he kept disintegrating my shields. He knew I wouldn't budge any time soon, and that was why he stopped attacking. With both hands in the air, he willed Mara's black crystals floating above us to fall.

My eyes opened wide as the black sky descended, closer and closer. "You want to destroy this whole area?!"

He laughed maniacally. "I'm not done yet!"

The ground shook violently, and when I looked down, peach crystals popped out of the graphite. More and more started to emerge, eventually filling the street we were at with it. Ivar's black wings split itself into eight, of which there were four on each side.

"Yvonne's crystals . . ." I muttered.

Since we were in Sweden, it was logical to say that he had some of Yvonne's crystals hidden for him to use whenever. Nevertheless, that Ivar was seriously thinking of crushing me with everything he had right then and there.
