Elegant Hammer couldn't believe the epic daggers of the assassin were priced at 500 orange coins!
Orange coins were equal to 1000 teal coins which were equal to 1000 white coins.
'So, he's pretty much saying you're only getting this back if you make me rich…'
Elegant Hammer giggled while steeping over to Purple Monarch and Dream Knight who were waiting by the door. Thrasher wasn't there.
"Oh… apparently he had someone visit his apartment… However, he gave us the address of where to meet him!" Dream Knight opened the email and read the address out loud.
"527 Aristall Street…. The golden city, seriously!" Dream Knight called it the golden city, but it was really called Lorenstein Creek. The nickname stuck because of the gilded buildings.
"Heh… yeah, I knew he must be someone special! Let's go meet him tomorrow then…"
"Deal!"
They then agreed to log off together for a few hours. In those few hours, unless a miracle happened, their spot on the leader board would be secured. In fact, besides for the hidden Beta testers, the highest level people behind them were level 15.
….
Thrasher took of the virtual helmet and looked at the little girl and large man standing in front of him.
"Uhm… master, I didn't expect to see you so soon," Thrasher said to the visitors.
"Heh… you think your master couldn't find you or something." His master cracked his knuckles before Thrasher backpedaled and hugged his sister.
He couldn't help but think she was the perfect shield, and soon she hugged him tightly.
"Awww, I missed you too brother! However, you're hugging me… too tight!" His little sister Pell Daring was dropped to the floor before his master put his arm on his shoulder.
A second later, Thrasher felt himself spinning in the air as ten fists flew towards him.
With little time to think, he saw a level 90 monster in front of him, and soon parried in the air. He spun a few dozen times as his little sister Pell walked over towards the computer.
She was used to seeing <
A second later, though, as Thrasher tried to escape the onslaught, she discovered a virtual docking station, and a card for <
She turned and looked over as Thrasher ended up beside her. Their master had him locked against the floor struggling to move.
"Heh… not bad kid! You're still five hundred years too young to defeat me!"
Thrasher, somewhat appalled by his lack of progress, accepted a tug before he noticed his sister staring down at the machine.
He couldn't deal with this situation right now, and eagerly began laughing.
"Geez, guys, so you didn't tell me why you're here, but if you're here does this mean that dad found me?"
"Yup… that's what you get for taking keys from his office, and you almost died brother! Dad almost couldn't believe someone injured you…"
"It was a moment of carelessness. I'm sorry to have disgraced you master!"
His master laughed before he put down a piece of paper, and a book bag that was on his back.
Thrasher could only smile seeing the bulges of money, and then pat his sister on the head.
"Well, you didn't disgrace us… but master said he's going to make you bullet proof! He even brought some guns that he wants me to shoot at you every day…" She sounded somewhat serious, but Thrasher imagined this was a joke.
"So, wait, that bag is full of guns and money?" Thrasher said before his master nodded as he waved at the door. His sister opened up the bag and pulled out a glock. Soon it was loaded, and this was actually a serious training session.
His master giggled before Thrasher began laughing somewhat afraid of his sisters smile.
"Uhm… I'll try my best to not die master! However, wait, does this mean sister is staying with me?"
Pell Daring looked at him and nodded her head. "Yup, and you're going to let me play this game with you, too!"
A second later, the delivery man walked inside the workshop as his master left.
He saw a little girl holding a gun, and somewhat afraid dropped the food. "Uhm! I'll just get my payment next time!"
Seconds later, Thrasher giggled before his sister hid the glock.
"Oh, don't worry! I'm not going to kill him… However, this is just to make sure he doesn't die…"
Pell, however, was immediately delighted by the smell of the food and ran over with 500 RMTs in her hand. She pushed the delivery guy out the door giving him a 450 RMT tip and a message. "If you tell anyone about this, you're not going to be happy anymore…"
The delivery man, having been in weirder situations before, gladly took this bribe and immediately went onto his next delivery.
That little girl stayed on his mind, however, and soon he began to hear what sounded like fireworks.
This was probably the sound of gunshots, and the delivery man immediately went to his next house while whistling about his tip.
