The bang was an attack called Mercy's gift. As it was from a level 35 boss that was enraged, the damage it did was not minimal.
Luckily, Purple Monarch activated Head strong and held on with 20 HP. Immediately, they got in tip top shape like a pro team. Dream Knight immediately cast a healing skill called Angel's Restoration.
This skill came from her staff, and soon Purple Monarch was back up to 300 HP.
"Thank you so much for the save, Dream Knight!"
He laughed as he held out his shield feeling the crush of the Qulin's claws.
"Yes, well…. I am the cleric," she replied somewhat coldly.
Thrasher, on the other hand, immediately approached the boss and decided to use [Emperor's Fury.] All legendary weapons came with 2 attacks, and epic weapons came with one attack.
For instance, Angel's restoration, came from Dream Knight's Epic staff.
Soon, a tremendously large beam of light pervaded the boss, and its HP took a -1000 dive.
"Heh… boss, you really should've done that a minute ago!" Purple Monarch said as he took bash after bash.
Dream Knight soon casted an attack buff on Thrasher. A second later, he charged towards the Qulin. At this time, he realized he couldn't think of anything clever to say to Monarch.
"Uhm… I waited because I wanted to?"
Dream Knight laughed and sent out a streak of five glowing arrows behind Thrashers back. "Well, anyway this boss is done for…"
She looked Thrasher jump up and recognized the wind up for his favorite personal skill. When a player earned enough mastery points in their profession, they'd be able to create personal skills. Luckily, in the new version of the game, the skill was still passed over. In this version, though, he had to activate it in a different way.
"Hmmm, I hope this finishes you big daddy!" He sent out two glowing rainbows from both of his swords.
The monster could only look on in fear.
"Boom!"
A second later, the bosses body fell to the ground and Thrasher sighed. "Really wish I could've shown that to your wife, Monarch…"
Purple Monarch laughed and nodded his head. "Yeah! She would've loved to see that move…" His wife was actually a big fan of Thrasher as was much of the other players in <
Unfortunately, he was never offered any money, but at least he found some good items on the floor.
"Guys… Look!" Dream Knight said pointing to golden stash flickering on the floor. "We got at least two skill books!"
Purple Monarch smiled before he walked up to it. There was a skill book for a ranger, a warrior, and a cleric. "Eh, next time I'll get something good. However, did they change the names of the books?"
Thrasher leaned down and clicked on the skill book before a prompt appeared.
"Ding! You've acquired the skill book of the warrior, [fire-n-ice slash]."

Thrasher stored it away before Purple Monarch picked up the Ranger stuff, and a couple miscellaneous items.
"Eh… looks like we're going to have to rely on our old equipment for a while…" Purple Monarch commented picking up a shield.
"Why… are the stats bad?"
"No, they're good guild head! But we have legendary equipment…"
Thrasher contemplated for a second before he looked down at a blue print. "Hmmm, well, just save it for the workshop!"
Dream Knight, on the other hand, was smiling. "Guys, I think I just found the most kick ass skill!"
Thrasher turned towards her as she smiled looking at her skill book. "Uhm, what is it DK?"
She smiled before she immediately casts it on Purple Monarch.
"Woah! This is pretty cool," Purple Monarch says as his health starts going up.
"Ugh, Dream, don't skimp on the leader when he's curious, please?"
