"S-something?" Rie asked, uncertain.
"Indeed," nodded the Goddess, her hair accentuating the slight movement. "Can you at all remember anything odd before you died? Something out of the usual things you'd seen that morning?" Rie paused for a moment, recollecting her thoughts. "One thing was weird," she muttered. "There was a cat that was an unnatural purple color."
The Goddess Loli stared at her for a long moment, before sighing in exasperation. "So it was some kind of familiar. How troublesome...That will have to be absorbed into your soul if we don't want trouble later on." Lifting her other hand, she touched the sphere and closed her eyes.
Rapidly, the color shifted to cover the entire sphere and the dark center dissipated. Now, it was a light lavender color, as clear as earlier. "Excellent," she smiled, apparently satisfied. "Now, shall we discuss your requests on reincarnation~?"
"What- I didn't even agree to that yet!" Rie exclaimed. "I mean...there aren't any other options??" With a forceful smile, the Goddess held the sphere between both hands and made a motion to break the soul data she held. "Ah, ok, ok, I'll reincarnate!" Rie hurriedly agreed, going to grab it away.
Avoiding it with a swift gesture, the Goddess threw it at her head. Rie went to catch it, but it melted through her hands, sinking back 'into' her with a vaguely cold sensation.
"Now~ My dear Rie-chan~ Let's get these requests of yours." The Goddess Loli smiled excitedly, pulling a tome out of the air. Flipping it to a bookmark, she then looked up at her. "What'll it be? A harem, unlimited mana, or maybe even rebirth as a noble child?"
