When night comes we, I, Ken, and Chun Li gather together in the lobby hotel. Although we don't eat anything from the hotel, at least to lessen suspicion on us, we should blend like other participants. After the drawing for tomorrow tournament was made today, many participants already shut their selves in their respective room for tomorrow preparation, which makes the lobby that usually has many people come in and out become less crowded.
Well, we here not for socializing anyway so we just sit down there, have chit-chat between us, sometimes also make jokes to make our conversation merrier. Ken is good when talking with the girl, he knows topics which can make a girl interested, but what Chun Li most like to hear is the story when we start learning martial arts from Master Gouki. She can listen to Ken's story without interrupting while her mouth sometimes makes a smile when Ken tells something funny in his story.
Our conversation ended when we saw Guile enter the lobby hotel from outside. It seems he just going out recently, probably related to the information about the sample food that I ask him to check before. From the corner of his eyes, Guile sees us sitting in the lobby hotel and with a secret sign, invite us to follow him to his room in the hotel.
We rise from our seat and act like we already bored there and want to move to other places and without making anyone suspect us, we follow Guile to his room on another floor. After arriving in his room, with special knocking tone, Guile let us enter and invite us to see the report on the sample food he sends before.
"Please come in, I just receive the report and haven't read it at all"
"Mr. Guile, are you just going out to take that report?"
"Correct. It sends by the drone from the submarines to me on this island. It's all in here"
Guile shows a micro SD card in his hand.
"Wait for a moment. I believe this report in code and must be decoded first before we can read the content"
Guile takes a laptop from the drawer in the desk and put the micro SD card on the card reader and put it on the laptop. After turn on the laptop and input some passwords and codes, finally we able to see the content from the report. Together we read the report on that laptop.
The report is made in standard scientific ways, first, they analyze the food sample to find whether there are hazardous substances or not in that food. The result is: from the food sample, there is no sign of toxin, unknown chemical compound or other dangerous substances. When we read this part, we feel relieved because some poison has a slow effect that might only work after a few days after taken into the body.
The second test is to test whether there's dangerous microorganism like bacteria or viruses or not in that sampling food. The result also negative, there are no dangerous bacteria or microorganism in that food sample.
Two previous tests are using standard equipment for testing food that used in many research lab. Now we read the last part which conducted using a super microscope that can see tiniest parts from the object in the test. After we read the result, it's quite shocking because in the sample food, found something like transmitter in nano size. The test can't identify these nano things because it's already in the broken state from not receive energy to operate.
We look at each other after reading the result. Guile is the first one who speaks after reading that report
"Mr. Ryu, it seems your suspicion is not baseless. With this report, we can confirm something was put inside our body. Too bad we don't know the function of this thing inside our body"
"I'm sorry Mr. Guile, but we don't have those things in our body since we don't eat anything from this hotel since we arrive. But if you already eat something here, probably that thing already in your body"
"Buddy, I will not doubt you again next time. Ugh, I can't imagine what those things will do in our body"
Ken and Chun Li look relieved after reading that result. I guess they now will one hundred percent believe with what I'm saying. Meanwhile, Guile looks a bit anxious when realize he has those nano things in his body.
"Mr. Ryu, can you give me suggestion about what I should do to remove those things from my body?"
"I'm sorry Mr. Guile, but I'm not a scientist so I can't give you a solid suggestion for this matter. But it mentions in the report that nano thing already in the broken state when arriving in your lab because not receive energies to operate. Maybe the power source of those things is on this island. When we leave this island maybe that things will be lost power and automatically malfunction"
"So, your suggestion is for me to leave this island?"
"Yeah, or destroy the power source for those things"
Guile thinking a while after hearing my suggestion.
"I'm afraid I can't leave this island until my mission is over Mr. Ryu, but to destroy the power source is impossible with me alone"
"What are you talking about Mr. Guile, aren't we friend here? Just said what you want us to do, if we can help, we surely help you"
Guile looks glad after hearing what I'm saying. I look at Ken and Chun Li like asking their approval. They also nodded their head as a sign of consent with my decision. And that night four of us spend the night discussing our next plan to counter the things that they put into participants bodies.
