Combined with the blasting, body-shaking music, the sound of powerful punches and crashing objects resounded up on the VIP floor.
Yu Feng had believed the men he hired would take care of the two, but who would have thought the masked man would be so strong!
After realizing his situation was taking a turn for the worst, Yu Feng was completely panicked.
During the commotion, he crawled himself beneath a table and trembled.
Ah, why did things have to end this way?!
All he wanted was to make a few extra dollars and to prevent his company from collapsing!
Yet, it was now all falling apart!
Whilst he bitterly cried and covered his ears underneath the table, he had missed the sound of advancing footsteps. Suddenly, the table he hid beneath was kicked over. Alarmed, he lifts his head and experienced a course of chills run through his body.
The masked girl whom he had seen standing quietly from the side throughout their discussion was standing over him. The white fox demon mask was now smeared with bloody fingerprints and smudges, giving off the impression of a haunted spirit.
He displayed a despairing look towards Mimi, his appearance looking somewhat miserable.
"Aaahh! No! No! Please don't kill me!" Snot poured from his nostrils. "Please, I beg you!"
Mimi raised an eyebrow, a look of delight flitted across her eyes. "Kill you? Why would I want to do that?"
Yu Feng's body shivered. Just when he tried to shift his body away, a bright, silver object suddenly rose and shot straight toward his foot.
His expression blanched, tears welled up in his bloodshot eyes as he cried out in agony.
"Aaahhhhhh!"
Yu Feng looked down and saw completely pierced into his foot was a steel, metal fork. The bones were fragmented, blood seeping out profusely from beneath his foot. The shock overcame him.
He could not help crying out loud in a hoarse voice. "Urk, it hurts! Get it out, get it out!"
Mimi's voice carried a childish tone. "Eh? But won't you try to run away?"
Yu Feng noticed the white hand still gripping tightly onto the fork embedded into his foot. The girl's voice was surprisingly soothing and pleasing to the ears, however, it made Yu Feng shake all over.
If the owner of the voice wasn't the one responsible for stabbing his foot with a fork, he may have felt at ease!
But the sweeter it sounded, the more fearful he felt. Yu Feng gritted his teeth and frantically jerked his head, his eyes looking at Mimi in terror.
"No! I won't try to run, just please…take it out!" He cried.
The masked girl tilted her head and hummed as if thinking. "Mm, okay!"
Just about to sigh and cry in relief, the girl's next words made Yu Feng's body go cold.
"But after you compensate me a bit! I have a few questions to ask you."
At that moment, Yu Feng felt like weeping. Damn it, she might as well kill him now!
Feigning ignorance of his pain, Mimi asked, "What is Henry Hirogori planning? Seeing as he sent you here to act as a mole, I'm guessing he must not want anyone to interfere with something. Go ahead, tell me, I can keep a secret!"
The girl's lively, playful tone made Yu Feng's complexion turn green. Shit! It was like he was in hell, but tortured by an angel from heaven! This caused him to be all the more terrified.
He was frightened, but he could not bear having the fork in his foot another minute and said, "I-I don't know! He never told or shared anything with me!"
Yu Feng struggled nonstop to stop himself from fainting from the pain in his leg. Who knows what she'd do to him if he blacked out.
The fox demon masked girl stared at the shuddering Yu Feng quietly.
For a moment, he thought she was deciding to let him go when suddenly, the slender white hand holding the fork in his foot tightened their grip and mangled it deeper.
Yu Feng recoiled fiercely, his face turning blue and his neck and mouth clenched.
"You dare lie to me?" Her soft, yet cold voice was like a sentence from the God of death. "Now let me ask you again, what is Henry Hirogori planning?"
Engrossed in wretched agony, Yu Feng could hardly focus on anything else besides the pain in his foot. But the girl's words immediately hauled him back to his thoughts.
In a fit of panic, he confessed. "O-Okay, I'll tell you! I don't know much, but I just happened to overhear a bit when I was visiting his company!"
The girl lightly tapped her finger against the fork – her patience wearing thin.
Yu Feng swallowed his saliva. "H-He plans to establish a big deal with someone from the underworld. I don't know what it is exactly, but he sounded very serious when talking about it."
Mimi's face was expressionless, but her eyes turned cold.
Making deals with people from the underworld? What exactly was this rogue of a father of hers planning?
The corners of her lips drew up to form into a gentle smile. Well, whatever it was, she would be sure to end it and ruin him!
"Did you get that, Po?"
Mimi turned her head to see Shen Jue standing a few feet behind her, his fists and clothes dyed in scarlet blood. No one would have guessed he had just beaten a group of men to a pulp from his gentle, soothing laugh.
"Mm, loud and clear, Little One."
The corner of Mimi's mouth twitched. Looking back at the pale-faced Yu Feng, she giggled and patted his head.
"See? That wasn't so hard was it?"
Without warning, she clutched the handle of the fork and extracted it from his foot. Yu Feng let out an earsplitting scream of pain and afterward, fainted on the floor. Mimi glanced down at him and sighed softly.
What a shame, she wanted him to compensate her for the punch she received from his goons, but he fainted before she had the chance!
An evil intention passed right through Mimi's eyes. She stood up to snatch a knife from nearby and leveled it toward him. Before the knife made contact with his body, a red, bloodied hand gripped hers tightly.
"You're not going to kill him are you, little one?"
He strangely did not want to see any more bloodstains on her.
Mimi snorted and shook away Shen Jue's hand. "Of course not. I was just going to make this uncle bald. Since he can't compensate me with pain, I'll just shave off all his hair!"
Shen Jue was silent for a bit before laughing. "All right, if that'll make the little one happy."
Mimi scowled, but proceeded with her initial plan, sloppily cutting off bits and pieces of Yu Feng's hair, creating bald spots.
By the time she was finished, all that was left was patches of hair surrounded by a scratchy looking head.
The man looked like a poorly peeled potato!
