Chapter 91 - See Him Again

"Emilia?"

Detecting the sound of her father's voice made Emilia break from her daze; her face now flushed rosy shade of red.

"His name is A...Andras." Emilia fiddled nervously with the hem of her dress.

Not noticing the change in his daughter's behavior, Louis Yimo's eyes suddenly lit up upon hearing the familiar name.

"Oh? Do you mean that Andras? The young man who recently rose his company in the last few years?" Louis Yimo asked.

Emilia shifted her silver eyes to stare at her father, her forehead creasing and eyes widening. In all honesty, she couldn't help but be overwhelmed by her father's words on Andras.

Although none could blame her, as she rarely payed much attention to the elite figures in the industry - unless they possessed some value to her.

Not to mention her first encounter with Andras was considered something one wouldn't expect to have with an elite figure.

Therefore, Emilia couldn't contain her astonishment when she heard such surprising words. Her father, taking note of her expression arched his brow curiously.

"Why do you look so surprised? He didn't tell you his identity?"

There was a long pause before Emilia's eyes flashed and her expression cleared. "No, he didn't."

For a few moments, Louis Yimo remained silent as if he were lost in thought. Finally, he glances over at his daughter standing across from him.

"What do you think of his character?" Her father questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Emilia became flustered. "H...He's..."

The girl hesitated as she suddenly began remembering Andras at the shop that day. How he had shamelessly used her to take the red tie from her, along with his words when she confronted him outside of the shop.

"Look doll face, I don't really give a damn who you are or who your family is. I already bought the tie, so I now claim ownership over it. If you demand it back so desperately you'll have to pay double for what I paid for it."

Recalling those words, Emilia's face flushed red with both humiliation and frustration.

"Although he helped me that night, daddy he's nothing but a shameless and sly person!" She puffed out her cheeks with frustration.

Both the butler and Louis Yimo couldn't help but be surprised by the girl's sudden change in expression.

What was with the sudden change in mood?

"Sweetpea, what makes you say that? Did something happen that I don't know about?"

Puffing out her chest, Emilia crosses her arms before she tells her father what took place that day at the shop. After hearing his daughter explain, he couldn't help but feel even more appreciation toward this Andras fellow.

Although Louis Yimo loved his daughter dearly, he was also aware of how spoiled and arrogant she was towards those around her. Therefore, hearing the story about her and Andras, he couldn't help but release a smile.

This Andras...he was definitely someone with a good character. Based on his daughter's words, he wasn't too domineering and wasn't one to be pushed around based on their status.

The ideal person to help instruct his daughter in this industry.

The following day, Louis Yimo contacted his old friend Lee Odo, explaining to Lee Odo his plans for Emilia.

Hearing this, Lee Odo couldn't help but sigh. He, who knew the young boy, was aware of how shameless and lazy he could be towards things that he held no interest in.

Therefore, Louis Yimo would offer to invest in his latest project if he were to agree.

Leading back to the present time in the Yimo residence, the young girl was currently in a trance while combing her hair.

"Ms. Yimo?" A maid behind her called out.

"Eh?"

Emilia looked up from her dresser to look at the maid through the mirror.

"I said your father asked for you downstairs."

"Ah...of course. I'll be down in a minute." Emilia set her brush down before standing up from her seat.

After making sure her appearance was decent, Emilia walked out of her room.

...

Walking down the stairs, Emilia's eyes are met with the sight of her father sitting in the living room, comfortably waiting for her arrival.

"Daddy, you called for me?"

Turning in the direction of his daughter, Louis Yimo's eyes lit up. "Sweetpea, come sit. I have something to tell you."

Making her way toward the living room, Emilia gently sits across from her father on the elegant vintage sofa.

"What is it?" Emilia asked curiously.

Dressed in a light pink off-shoulder top and a blue jean skirt, the young girl's blonde locks were layered in waves, gently draping down her smooth lightly tan shoulders.

With a long pearl necklace and bracelet to accessorize the girl's outfit, she gave off the aura of a wealthy and beautiful young, teenage girl.

"After the incident with Landon, it occurred to me that it was about time you got an understanding of the industry." Louis Yimo began to explain. "I understand it may be my fault that I pampered you to such an extent, but it's about time you toughened up and had a taste of what it's like to work for a business."

Slowly processing his words, Emilia's eyes widened, a faint furrow forming on her eyebrows.

"Daddy? What are you talking about? Are you saying you want me to...work?" Emilia stumbled to utter her last sentence.

Sighing lightly, Louis Yimo looks sternly at his daughter. "I know you may think I'm being unjust, but I'm doing this for your own good. After the incident at the Hirogori event, it finally came to me it was about time you were managed correctly."

He didn't want for his daughter to be weak and so easily fooled. The world was filled with people who were willing to stand beside one for power and use them to step up.

Landon had done exactly that to Emilia and he was well aware of how the situation affected his daughter. He wasn't willing to allow such a thing to happen again.

"But daddy..." Emilia started but was soon cut off by her father.

"I reached out to a friend of mine who asked someone if they could help supervise you. I believe he's the ideal candidate. The young boy who helped you that night, Andras, agreed to guide you and grant you a job in his company."

Just as Emilia was about to furiously argue back with her father, she halted after listening to his last sentence.

Andras...Andras was going to guide her? And she was going to be working at his company?

At that moment, Emilia was too stunned to say anything back, her mind drifting back toward the image of the young boy with piercing green eyes and rosy lips.

"I know this might be sudden but..."

"I...I'll do it." Emilia's gentle voice interrupted her father.

Startled, Louis Yimo looks up at his daughter to see her rosy cheeks and face turned to the side.

Noticing her father's shocked gaze, Emilia's face flushes even further. However, quickly composing herself, she crosses her legs and arms and stares at her father with puffed out cheeks.

"It's just working, right? If you want me to toughen up then very well, I'll follow father's wishes." Emilia raised her chin. "Just know I'm merely doing this for you!"

Listening to his daughter agree so easily, Louis Yimo felt as if he was about burst into tears. Ah, she truly was growing up!

From the beginning, he was prepared to console and pamper the girl if she were to throw a tantrum. He even purchased a brand-new car waiting in the back in case words didn't work.

Twitching her brows, Emilia stands up huffing and with crossed arms walks out of the living room toward her bedroom.

Once sure she was alone, Emilia's face flushes brightly red and releases a faint squeal while covering her face with her dainty hands.

She was going to see him again. Her prince in shining armor. Unsure why, but thinking of seeing Andras again caused her heart to pound loudly in her chest.
