In his home office, Henry Hirogori sat in his large chair signing company projects. Hearing the sound of someone knocking on the door, with a gruff voice he notifies them to come in.
Entering into his father's office was none other than Kenji Hirogori. With his intense brown eyes and sandy brown hair, he calmly walks towards his father's desk with a file of papers in hand.
"Father, I ensured everything will go as planned for the event tomorrow," Kenji said placing the documents on his desk.
"En, good. Make sure to double check your work, I won't tolerate mistakes." Henry Hirogori warns sharply.
Kenji nods his head obediently. Pondering on the next words to say, Kenji finally voices his thoughts.
"There's also been word going out that the CEO of Andras will be attending."
Henry Hirogori with his sharp eyes looks up at his son with hidden satisfaction.
"Hah! So that Andras bastard finally revealed himself? Good, very good!" He coldly chuckles. "I'm intrigued to see the face of such a quick operating company."
A cold smile raises on Henry Hirogori's wrinkled lips. Kenji furrows his brows at his father's sudden expression.
"Allow me to notify you of something, son. As the heir to the Hirogori family, you require nothing but your own power and no one else." Henry Hirogori said. "Remember that tonight. Any mistakes tonight will be on you and you alone."
Clenching his fists tightly together, Kenji nods his head in understanding. He knew the pressure was on him, and he couldn't bear to make a single mistake or else his father would severely punish him.
"Good. You're dismissed." His father motions his hand for him to leave.
Nodding his head once again, Kenji walks out of his father's office. Alone in the large room, Henry Hirogori chuckled darkly.
....
The night of the grand Hirogori event, men and women dressed in expensive brands roamed the large glass building many chatting happily amongst themselves.
A few taking quick glances at high-status figures passing by. Big named actors and actresses attended the event showing off their charming good looks.
A group of the press was stationed in a corner where they could take pictures at a respectable distance.
However, once the main event started they would be sent out to avoid any accidents or desperate interviewers.
Some actresses spoke to company Presidents to gain favor and hopefully earn a supporting backup.
Henry Hirogori was said to attend at a later time thus making everyone patiently waiting for his arrival.
The rest of the Hirogori family, including Lillian and Henry's sons Seth, Alec and Kenji, were also present.
Lillian with her alluring good looks chatted amongst the women showing off her power and glory to marry such a powerful man.
Kenji, standing on the top floor of the building, discussed business deals as well as receiving a little congratulations with a group of older company Presidents.
His calm demeanor and arrogant front made him appear as a king among everyone. He was to be the next heir of the Hirogori group. He was in power.
An hour into the event music and the large chandelier shone brightly.
Alec stands in the corner with his half-brother Seth placing on a fake gentle smile at people glancing his way.
Seth, on the other hand, hadn't even tried to hide his emotions. His expression was gloomy and annoyed.
"Tsk, this is so damn boring!" Seth groans in frustration.
"Haha, I pity you, Seth. It's a shame we'll have to stay here for another four hours." Alec's soothing voice laughs gently.
"Agh! I know, I know. No need to remind me." Seth holds the glass of champagne in his hand chugging it quickly. "I'm going to go get more drinks."
"Don't drink too much. Remember appearances." Alec reminds his brother with a smile.
Rolling his eyes at his brother's constant grins, Seth walks away with an empty glass.
Alec's blue eyes flash darkly at his brother's departing figure. Staring at his watch, he checks the time.
Where was that foolish girl?
Previously, before Alec left to attend the monumental event he went and checked in on Mimi at her office where the girl was reading and writing down documents.
Not long ago, Mimi had hired new members who were efficient in computer skills and to go undercover to watch over the employees.
Staring at her brother with a satisfied grin, the girl snickers.
"Don't worry big brother. I'll be there, just wait until you see me! My good looks will make men question themselves!" Mimi said with joy and tease written all over her face.
Alec stared at the girl with awe. For some reason, he felt like her words were true.
After all, she was nevertheless a genuine girl.
Now an hour since seeing Mimi, he pondered over what was taking the young girl so long. He knew she wouldn't miss such a particular occasion.
But he couldn't help but wonder if she was nervous to see her father and everyone again.
Even if she was seeing them as a different person did she feel anything towards them?
Hatred, loneliness, betrayal?
Seven years had passed since she last saw them, had her emotions towards them slowly faded away?
As multiple questions ran through Alec's head, he pauses as he catches sight of a glowing figure dressed in a dark crimson red tuxedo.
Entering the bright room with a charming smile and piercing green eyes, stood a young boy.
He looked around fifteen, but with his mature aura and sharp features, he appeared much older by two years.
Neither showing an arrogant or spoiled front, he confidently walked in the center of the room observing his surroundings. The boy looked soft and pure with a youthful handsome appearance.
People couldn't take their eyes off him!
Even a few men stared his way with longing looks. Alec took notice of the looks the men gave his little sister in her male disguise and felt shocked.
Unbelievable, even the men were looking at her!
As Mimi strolls in, a silver beard man immediately takes notice of the familiar face. With a dignified aura, he walks towards the young boy.
Recognizing someone walking in her direction, Mimi's eyes lit up at the old man. Standing in front of her was none other than Lee Odo of Lun Corporation.
"Mr. Odo, it's pleasant to see you again." The young boy kindly nods his head towards his senior.
Chuckling, Lee Odo shakes his head. "No need for formalities boy. Just call me Mr. Lee."
Smiling at the old man's words, Mimi nods her head smoothly. The two then begin discussing business including Andra's current system to improve trade.
Lee Odo would occasionally laugh joyously at the young boy's words and smart comments about the old man digging for information.
The boy was an interesting fellow!
People standing by watching in awe at the formal stern old Lee Odo laugh and talk happily with the mysterious young boy, couldn't help but suspect his identity.
Was he his grandson?
Finally, having the courage to confront the two, a group of older CEO's walked up to the pair.
"President Odo, it's a pleasure to see you again my old friend!" An old man with crinkled blue eyes laughs.
"En. It's splendid to see you too old buddy." Lee Odo smiles at the familiar old face.
Staring at the good-looking young boy next to Lee Odo, he arches his brow with curiosity.
"Haha! Who's the handsome little fellow over here?" He chuckles while staring at the young boy.
Because she didn't want to appear arrogant or rude and he was asking Lee Odo, Mimi silently stares at the old man allowing him to introduce her.
Laughing at the boy's stare and polite manners, he pats the boy's shoulder before introducing him to the group of men.
When telling the men the young boys identity the men nearly spat out their drinks.
This boy was the owner of such a successful company?!
He had barely grown any hair and was already rising so rapidly!
Soon the word spread around the room of the boy's true identity. Everyone was completely stunned.
Groups of well-known figures would come up the boy and introduce themselves soon finding his witty demeanor interesting and refreshing.
