Forming a contract was an extremely difficult mission. Players must be able to discern and find NPCs who had lower levels, or fame to interact with them for a few days in order to complete the mission. Furthermore, they would need to handle emergency situations such as taking care of an NPC's sick mother or finding an NPC's lost son.
Once the players formed a close bond with an NPC, they could invite them to form a contract and be their followers. Depending on the NPC's personality, behavior, and habits, this might take a longer time. Lastly, the players would have to find a Contract Master and complete another series of missions before being able to form a contract with a follower.
