The story follows the lead of the young and recently started Company the galactic Convoy. The founder its captain and head spokesperson Captain Ganbarou who moved from earth during the planet wide food shortage after an asteroid chunk came crashing into the planet from space he had hoped moving to mars would be a profitable venture. But he runs into a lot of trouble and has a hard time getting use to the sudden world change.
