If Lu Xinyi was killed, Feng Zexian wouldn't waste his time and would tell this to them at once. However, given the time that already passed, the events outside must be far from Feng Zexian plans.
'Xinxin… be safe.' Shen Yi prayed in his heart. If there's a chance that he could escape, he'd kill Feng Zexian at once.
The buzz brought him back to his sense as he frowned. This shouldn't be working, not unless Qiao He—who was waiting outside—had managed to establish the connection back.
