Upon mentioning Sun Qiushan's name, Xi Yunchuan froze and stared back at Lu Xinyi with wide eyes. He wasn't expecting this woman to mention the person he'd been looking for since he arrived.
"You seem surprised, Mr. Xi. Do you, in any way, know my cousin, Qiushan?"
Xi Yunchuan was clearly startled but nevertheless answered her question.
"Yes, I've met Miss Sun before…"
"It has been months…" Lu Xinyi sighed dejectedly. "I already asked my grandfather and Qiyan about her whereabouts, but neither of them knew where she is." She leaned her head on Shen Yi's arm and looked up at him.
"Darling, do you think you can do me a favor and find Qiushan for me?" She asked like any concern family members should be when one of them was missing.
Shen Yi nodded, aware of what his wife was trying to do with Xi Yunchuan. Judging by Xi Yunchuan's reaction, he didn't want the Shen family to intervene and find Sun Qiushan.
