Shen Yi went home with a slightly irritated mood. He was still pissed off that Shen Xue took his desserts and wasn't able to have them for himself. Opening the front door, he lazily walked toward the living room before he heard laughter coming from their kitchen. Did his wife have a visitor at this time?
"Xinyi, you should teach me some other time how you did it. I want to try and cook something for my husband, too. Damn, Shen Yi. Such a lucky man. If I were a man, I'll try to take you away from him." Xiao Lan smirked.
"I wanna see you try." Shen Yi warned.
When Lu Xinyi saw her husband arrive from work, a smile bloomed from her face, the unwanted happenings earlier pushed out of her mind. She threw the dry washcloth at the counter before moving towards Shen Yi, giving him a peck on his cheek.
"Hello. How was your day?" she asked.
Shen Yi groaned when he remembered those forever lost tiramisu and panna cotta.
"Bad, but it's getting better."
