Winding River was keeping tabs on Chen Lei, and since the latter managed to lift his head now, it was a sign that his attack was ready. The guardian alarmed everyone, and they all had their guards up.
Chen Lei then did hand movements, having water surged from his shadow. The waters oozed like a leak from a high-pressure tube.
It was so easy to avoid the water as the soldiers and the guardians continued their attacks; however, Xu Rouguang twitched as he felt the winds turn. He then noticed that the water was being collected from the sides.
"Chen Lei's attack isn't finished yet!" he yelled as he swerved to avoid a spear lights from Xu Jiguang. He then morphed into a light arrow to try and disrupt Chen Lei in Winding River's stead.
However, Sovereign Cinders faked a shot towards Taiyang. As the fireball 'missed' Taiyang, it blasted at Xu Rouguang.
"Rou!" Lai Mingjie glanced at the deathless general who was shot down. He then dashed madly towards Sovereign Cinders for a hit.
