Even if the old servants didn't find it a must to be so excited as they all knew Emodao's temperament, the younger members of the Imperial Mao knew of a different tale.
Just like Sovereign Orchid and the sisters from Moon Island knew, some pages of the history books were quite forgiving to Emodao. Both Mao Fuxing and Emperor Sky didn't agree to negate the contributions the demon king had given them—more to the fact that Emodao was not represented as a demon.
However, they didn't have any control over the published materials and could only sanction the authors of the fraudulent books. Though, some played with the rules and only mentioned it once, making it hard to be noticed. Even if it was Emodao that they were praising, they didn't want to be seen praising a demon king.
