Despite the screams that accompanied his flight, Lai Mingjie didn't even look back at what he did. He only wanted to reach the source of the blood chains without being caught in it. His speed suddenly vanished, and he felt like he had grown light-headed. When he came to, he was inside the void… no light to even see himself. It was as if he was just a consciousness drifting in the darkness.
