When Xu Rouguang came to, he felt the heat surging from around him. He opened his eyes and saw that he was trapped in what seemed to be a cocoon of a spider demon. He moved around and confirmed that he was on the ground. The temperature spiked up and burned the cocoon without damaging the young lord.
"What's happening?" he murmured as he watched himself stand in a burning room. He dissipated the flames and walked out, slowly opening the door to see the outside.
The capital was raging in flames while the immortals and the demons continued their battle. Xu Rouguang snuck around and hoped not to be seen by the immortals being butchered by the spider demons in the area. When he crawled into a hole, he quickly moved to get out. However, the exit was suddenly blocked by a big upside-down head of a cat.
Xu Rouguang jerked back and hit his head against the debris. He then whined, "Bianda!"
