Good news?
Lai Ninghe and Lai Yunzan's eyes flashed as they heard 'good news' coming from Xu Rouguang's mouth. Then again, Lai Ninghe didn't count on it so much. What kind of good news could Qin Wei bring in less than a day? Oh, it's probably about them being completely paid from their debt to him... or his account being completely wiped out.
The brother opened the box and started eating nonetheless. What made Xu Rouguang wonder was that he didn't finish it; half of the food was still there. He then boxed it carefully as if saving it for later. Then again, Lai Yunzan didn't strike him as someone who would save food just so he could eat again late later. Wasn't he supposed to be a wastrel young master?
"What good news?" Lai Yunzan asked, preparing to hear a real piece of good news.
