Long before the dawn of demons, there only lived gods, the divine races, and the human race. These gods had been very overbearing that the divine races loathed them while the humans had no choice but to worship them. However, the shift in powers came when the divine dragons managed to train a specific clan of dragons to wield the most power in their blood. These were latterly known as the imperial dragons, rulers of the divine dragon race!
Their powers surged when they learned to confer with nature. They ended up rallying their kind against the gods and becoming the new rulers of Heaven. That was why they were called the Sovereigns. Their rule could be considered long-lived as the gods soon began descending to the lands of men and implanting their seeds to chosen families. These humans then soon claimed power from the gods and had become members of the divine races—the first imperial human family.
