'I see a smaller group at the northwest, they are moving towards the first group, the first group also started to move in parallel to you about two blocks to the north. I think they are going to regroup before attacking.'
The beast moved faster than us so the attack will occur in the third or the fourth intersection. Even if I do not see then if I'm not wrong, the reinforcements from Green Shelter should arrive around that time too.
'They probably will start their attack in the fourth intersection from the north right?'
'If they regroup that would be about right, but they could also move independently, and if that happens, they might attack from two directions, they would arrive when your group is crossing the third intersection so you would be attacked the west and the north.
Mmmm
'Do the beasts in the smaller group look stronger?'
'I don't know Spence, I don't have your eyes, and they are too far to see them clearly. Want me to go to take a look?'
Last time I let ask her to go far, we ended in a bad situation, so I prefer her staying near us for the moment.
'No, stay here and tell me if you see something else.'
'… I think that there are some bigger beasts, but it's because I can see a couple of cows and horses around. Wait…The smaller group turned towards the south. They are going to attack independently from the west.'
The barrier on the second intersection was ready, so once again I went to the front of the formation. This time I brought a confused Giorgio with me.
"did something happen?
"Yes"
"Improvising?"
"Exactly, I need both of us to go ahead and block the northern route in the next intersection ahead of time, or we will are going to be fighting on two fronts during the next fight. The second wave is coming."
I didn't have too much time to explain what was happening, so G followed me when we surpassed them with Giorgio.
"We are fighting again?"
I don't know if it was just in my mind, but I almost thought for a second that he was enjoying this.
"Yes, but I want to block that street, so we just fight in that direction."
I pointed the routes from where both waves were coming, and how I planned to deal with them.
Far away I noticed that indeed the wave also turned and was coming towards us. They were two blocks away, and Giorgio already destroyed a building and was working on the wall.
Behind us, the vanguard group already arrived and were looking at the formation of the wall.
"Go ahead! the second group will appear soon so prepare to defend!"
I could hear the noise coming from the beasts trying to climb it. The wall was not complete, yet so there might be some beast that will be able to climb thanks to the imperfections. I took out my Five-seveN and shoot single shots whenever a beast showed the head.
I was lucky enough to kill 2 more F-Ranked beasts. The rearguard appeared as soon as they heard the shots, the best shooters in the group were here. With them here the possibilities of an accident occurring were low.
"Giorgio stay here and defend this place. The beasts shouldn't be strong, I'll leave Watson with you."
I turned my head looking for someone between the gunners in the rearguard.
"Gabriel! You and your team get in those two buildings and help the vanguard, focus in any long ranged beast that may appear!"
"YES!"
Together with the rest of the team that was with me, we moved fast towards the frontline, that had stopped running and took defensive positions before reaching the fourth intersection.
Rose informed me that some of the beasts from the first group started to move towards the second group to attack with them, and the rest were still trying to climb Giorgio's wall. A little part of the second group also separated from them and moved towards the est, probably to engage with the reinforcement form Green Shelter.
The second group was already visible coming at us from the west, we didn't have enough time to block the north path as we did before. So advancing more would mean that we have to resist the attack from two fronts again. I was hoping for the second group to turn later and attack from the north too so we could fend them off and block the path to keep moving forward, but the plan was screwed. This made more challenging to advance since it's the exact situation I was trying to prevent in the third intersection.
G stood in the front of everyone with the giant hammer on his shoulder and a slight smile on his face. He is definitely enjoying this…
As Rose said, unlike the other group, there were bigger animals in between, a horse and two bulls appeared getting ahead of the rest of the second wave charging toward us.
I couldn't let them get a full charge like that, so just like them I also charged forward but alone getting ready to slow them down and praying that G and the goons are strong enough to stop them.
Behind them, cows, horses, boars, goats, rats, bunnies and what appear to be a donkey were charging towards us.
Some the auras were the same as before, but mixed in between I could see that some were stronger than what we fought before.
The E-Rank beast had appeared.

"Have you seen them before?"
"No, I had no idea the there were girls that cute on the hunting teams, how is it that there are only guys in our group???"
"I know right! I'm asking for a transfer as soon as we go back, I'm totally getting that green-eyed girl."
"Good, she seems too young for me I prefer the other one."
Zak was hearing that and thought what would Spencer think if he listened to this conversation.
"Those girls are way out of your league delusional idiots… and you can't transfer to their teams, they don't have one."
"Wait you know them?"
"Them? Yeah, I have been in a mission once with each.
"They are in your team? Lucky bastard, C'mon men introduce us or at least tell us who they are."
"They were just temporal members someone else brought them. About introducing them… that's a big no. What do I get from telling you who they are?"
"I can give you my sister contact!"
"None of those things work now stupid! and she isn't living in this city anymore…" said the other guy. "What do you want?"
"A bottle of booze. Not some cheap sh*t get me something nice."
One of them seemed to think about it for a second, but the other responded right away.
"Deal!"
"Ok, have you heard of Spencer?"
"Spencer?"
They looked at each other in confusion.
"Wow, your information network really sucks!"
"Just talk… Who is Spencer?"
"The brother of the girl with the MRGR."
(A/N: I decided to change the name RailFle because it generated some confusion, MRGR is Magnetic RailGun Rifle)
"And? Is he a siscon or dangerous?"
"No… I don't think so, he used to be a student of Dr. Harting and is in my hunting group. He came about a week ago with his group, and from what I overheard they are outside the chain of command. Also is one of the last persons that I would fight, he is supposed to have a sense type ability, but I'm pretty sure that there is more to it."
"Why are you telling us this?"
"Because we are going to meet him soon, he was in charge of this operation and was the one that asked for reinforcements, and I don't want a pair of idiots talking like that about his sister, remember what I told you… sense type ability if you keep talking like that he might hear you."
They didn't seem too worried about him, but they didn't want to have troubles with him either if he was in charge of this mission it meant that his standing in Green Shelter was high.
"Wow, thanks for the heads up."
At that moment Blake's voice thundered into their ears.
"Get Ready!!!"
Because of the conversation, the three of them were entirely caught off guard, but they had time to get ready thanks to the rest of the team.
In front of them, an oversized goat had appeared.
The goat was two and a half meters tall and was running towards them followed for what It seemed a group of normal-sized beasts.
A group of 5 guys with a neutral face and empty eyes got in the front with thick shields in front of them.
Behind the formation, Blake gave instructions to the goons, and the rest of the group, Zak and the other two guys were a little late in taking their places for the incoming attack. Hayley was in the rear next To Hope and Leon with her eyes focused on the incoming goat.
She was wearing the same hunting suit that was given to her for the rescue mission, and under it, a skin-tight dark blue suit could be noticed.
She took out off a glove from her right hand and pointed towards the goat.
The temperature started to drop, some of the people around got nervous, but thanks to her control there were no panic attacks.
The oversized goat that a moment before was charging at full speed started to slow down as it was covered by frost until It stopped moving. In less than five second the goat traded places with a sliding ice block. Without the control, the ice goat hit the sidewalk, falling to the side and breaking in pieces as it crashed against the floor.
Everyone watched at her dumbfounded, while she took a deep breath before moving her hand to point another beast.
