I took a deep breath as I stepped aside to admire my work, six new dungeon floors, and in addition to the previous three, I now had nine floors capable of inhabiting monsters, which was just as good seeing as the other floors were now filled with the brim with monsters. The breeding pens have been effective, too effective.
Which was why I was going to be utilizing most of the monsters. There was a lot of them, overpopulation was now a problem and the fact that I wanted to increase my repertoire of monsters, meant I had to get rid of quite a few.
Which was why I came with a rather risky plan. The pit never had a reason to have problems with rodents, and most especially the guard tower. Which was why I was sending a whole lot of the rats to pay a visit to the guards.
Quite a lot of them will die, but the rats breed the fastest, so I was not so worried about a dwindling population. I only felt sorry for the guards, this was not going to be a pleasant experience for them.
"Soren, you have new biological templates for monsters. Show me the monsters that can be created, and their origins."
[Very well master.]
[SIREN: Sea Fairy and Nightingale Cat fish]
[Werewolf: Blood hound, Lesser hell hound]
[Naga: Iron Dark Stinger Boa, Red Scaled Cobra]
[Lava Wolves: Fire Hound, Earth Spiked Shepherd]
"can all of this monsters be created with the resources we currently have?" I asked Soren.
[Yes master.]
"Then proceed with their creation Soren. I'll leave their distribution up to your discretion, but do make sure to leave some fishes in the third floor for the bats."
[Yes master.]
And then everything went silent as Soren went on to focus on his tasks. I could have properly supervised everything he had to do, but I was in a hurry to increase my strength in whichever way possible. After what happened to Rhea, I felt pressured to get stronger as fast as possible.
So now I was going to be training, and paying attention to the missions earth had given me before, because completing them always awarded me with things that significantly increased my strength and abilities. But first I had to check the stats for the dungeon.

It was looking rather normal, apart from the fact that there was an increased population of monsters. I trusted Soren enough to take care of everything, which meant that I could no place my focus on getting stronger and actively trying to complete the missions I've been given.

[MISSION: In three month create either a village or town like community for the vampires under you./ REWARDS: Kingdom Building System, Access to the Trans Universal System Market, A bowl of hot Noodles.]
Most of the missions here were progressing forward on their own, but I had already used one month unsealing vampires, so I had to get a move on, especially when it comes to my training as a swordsman.
To be honest I think it's funny that I'm training to be a swordsman in a world who's wars are predominantly fought with hot weapons that you would consider, a sci fi geeks fantasy come to life.
But none the less, this was also a world where it's warriors could moved at the speed of sound if they wanted, catch bullets and even call down rain. Anything can be a weapon, which was why cold weapons were not obsolete.
They could cause a significant amount of damage, if not more than what you would expect from a pulse rifle. But ultimately it was all a matter of preference.
The journey of a swordsman, is predominantly reliant on his body, his mind, and his ability to adapt. The sword was the most balanced weapon In existence.
It was not too short or long depending on which type you prefer, and it has the most maneuverability of all the weapons. The sword can stand toe to toe with any weapon regardless of how sophisticated it was. But the true power of a sword comes from the person who wields it.
Many other factors can also be considered in using a sword, factors like energy, speed, technique, and even magic. Every swordsman has a particular style of swordsmanship that they use. As for me? I was a passive aggressive fighter.
I loved using a shield with my sword, not to mention my shields have sharpened edges, making them equally as lethal as a sword. I'm no captain America, but I dare say I'm really skilled with it's usage.
Which was why I was going to be focusing solely on honing my skills with the edged shield and the longsword. I doubt it's going to be easy, since I feel this training would be a whole lot more different than what I've previously experienced. But I think I can get through it no problem. Now first things first; style.

THE GREEN DISTRICT
MARKET AREA
THE NEXUS BAR AND HOTEL
GUS TERSOLON
I was back here again, but this time it was not for information. The Bar seemed particularly crowded today as gossip entwined itself with the atmosphere. Kael's appointment of the elders seemed to be the biggest news around, doing that had cemented his image as a major player in the stakes that was the pit.
However he seems to have a lot of opposition. Not many people were happy a guy who hasn't been a vampire for half a decade much less a century was able to command elders millennia's old.
I kept my head down and moved past the tables, the smell of blood, smoke and sweat was everywhere chocking my senses to stupor. But as if that wasn't enough there was just so many erratic thoughts around today.
The last few months have been rather exciting and the vampires knew that there was a change on the horizon, and more than a few of them knew it was going to be a bloody one.
I made my way to the counter where Bob was working, or I guess I could say another variation of Bob seeing as he was an orc wearing a tuxedo. How do you make that work.
He gave me a nod of acknowledgment and gestured for me to sit, before he bent down under the counter and rummaged through something for a while. When he came back up, he was covered in dust, but he was holding an apron and a tray in both his hands as he said to me.
"We're a little short staffed at the moment so I need to handle serving the customers for a few shifts." He asked with a smile.
I scrunched up my face in annoyance as I asked him.
"but you don't have any staffs? So why would you say you're short staffed."
"Well it's simple, because I can, and because I felt like playing a prank. Get to work, and be discreet. It's time for first lesson."
Bob said as he pushed the tray and apron to me.
"And what lesson am learning today?"
"it's quite simple really, it's title how to be a good waiter. Now. Run along."
After that it was just a matter of going round and taking orders from the patrons of the Nexus bar. A lot of them were rather surprised, since for the longest time they've known Bob and his bar, you always had to get what your ordered from the bar by yourself. A scruffy vampire kid who was apparently mute was not what they were expecting. But I didn't blame them, because to be honest I was not expecting this either.
With no other choice I had to do as I was told. Weaving through the tables and jumping over puddles of vomit, snot and tears, as different people with different problems came to the Nexus to connect and drown their sorrows.
This place was extremely weird, unlike anything I've ever experienced. It was a place where a person would be quite eager to spill his or her own secrets. And even then I still had to wonder, what was Bob trying to teach me.
