So the next two tasks the tower would have to take care of would be to make the first floor a bit more habitable, and making doors. Which if I should be honest sounded like a very splendid idea, we had to at least have some modicum of protection...and privacy, especially privacy. Due to the fact that his small community of ours has been rather exposed, there was not chance to get a little frisky with Asha or Xaseah. And I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say sex was not the main reason why I chose to have the floor altered and the doors built first. I'm a man….…and not to sound so sexist, but I have needs, not to mention two drop dead gorgeous beauty at my side. My mind is bound to stray a bit.

Well that was quite an assortment of low level monsters. There was a new entry in the bats section with the poison bats, but everything else was still the same, excluding the addition of the essence rat's template. I needed to figure out which of the monsters I should create. I wondered if I should continue on my current path with the bats, though to be honest at this point in time, they're weak as fuck without the numbers to back them up.
"Tower now that you're level two, how many monsters can you create and control."
[replying master, the amount of monsters capable of being created and controlled has increased by a multiple of times five for each individual monsters species. As such for each species, the tower can create 25 individual monster for each species.]
"Okay then, create twenty basic blood bats, twenty basic paralysis bats, and twenty five basic earth rats, and ten poison rats."
[Overall cost excluding, cost from tower task is 85 units of soul energy, and 195 units of biological energy, and 125% worth of earth energy.]
[Overall cost of every task in soul energy unit is 140 units of soul energy, excluding 79 units of soul energy used to advance tower to level two, overall amount of soul energy left is 326]
[Note, overall cost in biological energy unit for the creation of monsters is 195 units. There is only 190 units worth of biological energy in the tower's matrix. A review of assembled task is required, or will you like to exchange 1 creation energy unit, for 100 biological energy units...….]
Well that is surprising if you ask me, one unit of creation energy exchanged into biological energy seemed so small to me. I had expected that it would be about 300 to 500. After all, this was the energy that was partly responsible for the creation of all life in the universe, the conversion rate just seemed so cheap.
[Note, energy conversion skill and tower level is too low to obtain maximum gains during conversion process. As such tower advice's master to increase tower level and give tasks that gives tower a chance to practice energy conversion skills more often.]
Well that seemed to have explained everything, but something else nagged me that I couldn't help but ask the tower about.
"Can't you practice the energy conversion skill yourself, is it necessary that a task has to be assigned for it?"
[Until tower is fully awakened and gains sentient thoughts and personality, it's impossible to take independent actions. Tower can only act out according to orders given by the master, at this point, the tower is nothing more than a basic smart computer AI. After awakening, Tower would become a true living being.]
I gave a mental agreement for the conversion, but also added one last order, at least this way I can have maximum use of the newly converted biological energy.
" also create 25 basic poison blood bats."
[ Cost in biological energy units is 270, and cost in soul energy unit is 190, and soul energy unit left in tower matrix Is 276, biological energy is 0. Commence tasks....]

So that's that. I could already see the tower going to work, as pieces of earth began to gather together, forming what I suspected to be foundations as they built themselves up. There were still a lot of tasks that could be performed by the tower, but for now I felt as if the most important part of it has already been taken care of. Now I felt it was time for me do something useful, I wanted to start focusing on my weaving, it should be about time that I began to attempt to get rid of the seal, but so far I and only one candidate in mind. And that was Nisi.
The gnome had a slave seal, she could still use her magic in connection with the way, but she could not access or see it, unlike the vampires who were completely cut off from it and weakened considerably. Now all that was left was to figure out a way to convince her to go through with it, after all, I couldn't be sure that there was no risk involved, even though my theory seemed fool proof. Anyway, I wouldn't know unless I try.

THE NEXUS BAR
SHAMIR THE UNSEALED
"So for what reason would make a disgraced elder vampire call me here." Shamir asked as he picked out dirt from his pale finger nails.
His companion was sitting opposite him, however no part of his companion's body was visible as he or she was wearing a thick black cloak. The person sitting opposite Shamir was quite nervous as they repeatedly straightened the hem of his/her clothes while looking around as if afraid someone or something would appear behind them.
"Shamir the unsealed, prince of the void, mas....…"
"Cut the crap Warren blood, what do you want?" Shamir asked with an impatient tone.
"I no longer have any ties to the warren bloodline Shamir, just like you I was banished. Thrown out for choosing to live my miserable existence in a manner that out ancestors of old would be proud of. But in the eyes of the bloodline elder, such a way of life is not right or acceptable in the current era, they said we needed to change. But I say no, why should we change who we are, just because the humans say we should, or because we want to avoid their wrath. I've grown tired of such a life Shamir, that's why I'm here. I need your help."
Shamir raised his eyebrows as his long black hair flicked across his pale face. His golden eyes were so dark, it was hard to imagine what secrets they hid deep within their shadows. His very presence was intimidating enough, that the vampire sitting opposite him had all his muscles tensed and wound up like a spring, ready to shoot out of here at the first sign of trouble.
Though such a reaction was funny considering, Shamir was only a Shadower, a vampire one rank below an elder. But he let off such a pressure, that even the oldest vampire would be intimidated in his presence, but how could they not, because unlike them, Shamir was unsealed.
"While your enthusiasm and respect for the old ways are somewhat cute, I don't see what this has to do with me. Because quite frankly whether it's the old way, or the new way. I do whatever the fuck I want and no body, not even the humans tell me otherwise. So Warren blood, tell me, why would I even consider helping you."
The vampire drew close as if afraid of any eavesdropping, even though the next table was about seven meters away, and the Nexus on it's own was practically empty at this time of the day.
"Because we've discovered the location of [Idah]."
Shamir's countenance took on a qualitative change as his face twisted into a fury filled frown.
"Are you looking to die, do you think this is some sort of joke that you would come here and play. What do you me a you found [Idah], that should be impossible."
Shamir was angry, and it was a well known fact in the pit that whenever he gets hungry, people who end up dying could nit be anything less than fifteen. The disguised vampire felt his bones shake in fright at the sound of Shamir's voice, there was a madness in his eyes, a coldness that just yearned to burn rather than freeze. This guy was a monster and he knew it. Taking a deep breath and swallowing the lump in his throat he answered.
"I think the easiest way to explain it would be too say we've found a map and a list of instructions that can lead us to the holy city. We just need someone with enough power and resources to back us."
Shamir's eyebrow twitched as he realized what this was all about. The subtle meaning hidden behind his request for help, the secret that's known only to quite a few elite vampires and races in the pit. Even the humans don't have the full story, just wisps of flickering rumor.
"You're not just asking for my help are you. You were asking for 'his' help. That's quite bold and audacious of you, making demands of the last Dracula."
"My lord Shamir, I wouldn't dare to commit such blunder, it's only that we have no choice. But to come asking for help and support."
"Oh and why is that?" Shamir asked with perplexed tone.
"The map and instructions are not complete, they're just one part of six halves. At the moment three of those halves are within the hands of bloodline covens, one has fallen into our hands, a simple coven of vampires who believe in a better future than what has been given to us, a coven of vampires who believe in the teachings of the old way, a coven...…..…."
"Enough!, I get it. Now where's the other two pieces of the map and it's instructions." Shamir asked with an impatient tone.
"You have to promise your help first."
"seriously?" Shamir asked with a raised eyebrow.
"indeed, give me your word, promise to bring our plight to the great one, and that you would do everything in your power to help us."
"you have some balls for such a wimpy looking vampire, and I have half a mind to rip you in half for thinking that you can bargain with me. But as you wish, you have my word. Now tell me what I want to know."
"The fifth piece of the map is in the aviary with the Nephilim. And as for the last part of it. It's in the den, with the Dragons."
Shamir only had one word for the remaining two locations.
"Shit"
