Like the last time he had gone here, Lady Dione was sitting across him, a cup of tea in her hand. Her white eyes moved to gaze at Noah's face, but she didn't make any noise. She was just… staring.
"Lady Dione…" Noah laid his hands on the table. Unlike what he wanted to tell himself, he had recollections of what he had done when he lost control. It was as if sleeping had made him remember even if he wasn't himself by then. "I… what happened to me?"
"Easy. You lost control." Dione put down her tea and stared at Noah. "I didn't know you have that kind of power inside you. What else would you be hiding from me? You do realize that you're lucky last night. If not, you could have killed my children…"
