When Sinon made the decision to lend his wings, he had already known that Luca would ask for this sooner than expected. Even if he had no idea if Luca would be able to balance the angel's deformed materialization, the way he was maneuvering was convincing Sinon to do it. The worst that could happen was for Luca to fall off, and it's not like Noah wasn't there to save him.
Stark white light started to cover Luca to Noah's surprise. The lampshade head turned into a full-face helmet as the segmented body provided some kind of armor. The only weird thing was that the hands were exactly the same as Sinon's cup and straw appendages.
