Luca twitched at Noah's reply and saw that the witch was looking at something past him. Luca turned his head in the opposite direction and saw the three familiars. However, he barely recognized Schwartz who saved them earlier during the dream. He then moved his body to face them as the three hovered to get in front of them.
Schwartz placed a black hand with pulsing purple veins on his chest and chuckled. "I am quite honored by the lies and truths the Church had spoken to you, Mister Luca. Truly, I craved immortality, but for me to be labeled a witch long before I actually became one? That's quite an insult to my scholarly pursuits." He then narrowed his eyes. "Moreover, the Church is making use of my studies? To which they once screamed 'heresy'?"
